A relative of one of the protagonists is the suspected mastermind of a killing of the other protagonist's relative. Both are beloved relatives of the protagonists and their killings and/or disappearances caused a lot of mental trauma.
A couple has to reveal a killer and deal with the concequesnces of that reveal.. as it might.. prevent it from being together.

Both are MBS BL drama. Good quality Jdrama even though the genre is far from each other since Fukokiss is fluff romcom while Utsukare is more on the serious coming of age tone.

Both are melodramas with similar pacing and moody atmospheres. Also, both are slice-of-life dramas that focus on character relationships over eventful plots.

The second male lead is a psychopath, who does a numerous of killings and is attracted to the main female protagonist.

Both have a female and a male protagonists, suffering from mental illnesses. One of the male protagonists is diagnosed with schizoprenia.

Both deal with crimes, which happened in the past and a whole bunch of people trying to find the truth.

In it there is a beautiful man, suffering from auditory hallucinations.

A person's adventure towards his/her self-healing leads towards many revelations abouts the past.. (past tragedies, incidents and killings are revealed).

The people who suffer are good and very emotional.. the blame for crimes they didn't commit triggered their mental illness.

Eyes of Dawn is set in 1930s-1960s Korea, China, Japan and Saipei at diffent periods. It includes more about rhe Korean war since it takes place in Korea when the Korean war happens.

It also features various war crimes.

Other than those two not a whole lot of similarities, but both are enjoyable to watch. SOML is longer, but def worth the watch.
