In both the stories male leads are lawyers.
Both the stories revolve around the people who wants to take revenge against corrupt organisations.
These dramas have least romance.

An evil rich girl holds responsibility but ends up in a coma. Another girl who is naive and kindhearted gets plastic surgery to look like her and take over her life & circumstances.

What just looks similar is the life-takeover as a twin-looking girl.

The two dramas have bully in workplace.

Co-workers sabotages the work of others.

The main character in the two dramas got shocked about the cruelty in workplace.

The boss in the two drama don't mind about the main characters.

similarities:
1. both of these dramas take place in the past, around the same time give or take a few years. Love Rain takes place earlier in time (1970s) and Youth of May in 1980.
2. the love between the leads is deep, unexpected and life altering.
3. separation of the leads due difficult circumstances. the lovers never forgot each other till the present day, even though they have been separated for decades.
4. tragic ending - unfulfilled love.

To My Star and You Make Me Dance have a different main plot but the BASIC plotline are very similar. Both are dramas that I enjoyed!!

Both fantasy with a touch of Romance. I find them quite similar but the main plot is different. Main leads are also very very handsome.... BUT they were both dramas I enjoyed a lot, with a strong cast and script. It also has humor and just everything you would want in a drama. They both had a happy ending as well!!

The friendship between two person of different generation. The bonding, the beauty, the support, the caring, is valuable in life. The loneliness, the cruel society, the desperation,.... the friendship gave them hope and meaning of life. Beautiful story indeed.

Similar premise from the same writer- a poor woman goes into a very rich family’s household to work.

Makjang drama, cheating hijinks and complicated family dynamics will feature in both. There’s also a mystery / crime whodunnit as the overarching plot.

LS has the same vibe as IL.
The male lead are intellectuals who love the FL.
The FL is in the entertainment industry.
THe maturity and the vibe of their relationships is very similar

a group of friends are split apart after the death of their closet friend & are brought back together when their dead friend comes back after some time has passed, both focus on how the death of someone close to you impacts your life, the struggles of moving on, and getting closure.

slight differences: in our 30 minute sessions they don't realise the main character has come back as a ghost as he possesses someone else's body but the core messages are similar (also great music)

It’s also a school drama and the main leads of both dramas have similar temperaments. Male leads of both dramas are sporty. Female leads of both dramas are hardworking & studious types. Both dramas not only have school romance, but focus on the struggles and daily lives of students as well.

The general synopsis is quite similar, but I know they are very different shows. Both are Chinese historical dramas, where ml is immortal and he has been known/watching fl since the past lives.
