I think it is similar in tension and the uncomfortable feeling you get, rather than similarity in the plot. If you are looking for thriller, Somebody is a good fit for you.
If you liked Ctrl+Alt+Life you’ll probably like Cross Fire too for its esports theme and time-bending storyline.
Both are historical dramas with equal parts action and romance. POB is more of a serious slow burn (and lowkey I hated the ML in the beginning), while WDBTD is a more of a fantasy romance drama. The stakes vary from drama to drama, but both have fun plot twists and complex characters. The FL's in both are witty and charismatic.
A business woman whose family is brought low by others' envy still manages to rises up. She knows her own worth, the value of family, and is willing to struggle to survive.

romance nya pas awal agak mirip sama the best thing. awalnya female lead nya punya pacar dan putus terus ketemu sama cowok baru yang lebih baik dari mantannya.
Both are quirky BLs about a human ML and an alien ML newly arrived on earth.

Both have themes of rape and misplaced anger. Both mls are similar to each; they are both cold and are great manipulators. However, the fls are different, in Jamloei Rak the fl is a fighter and in this drama the fl isn't. Tbh, I wouldn't recommend either of these dramas. The relationships are founded on rape and both fl seemed to have been brainwashed or had Stockholm Syndrome.
Season 2 of Flourished peony, Same FL, Gets into the details of a Merchants life in Ancient china, Female businesswoman and supporting witty husband, Entertaining romance.
Both start like entertaining mysteries but gradually turn into emotional stories about loss, guilt and time.
