If you liked Exit 8, you absolutely need to watch Alice in Borderland. Both give you that unsettling feeling of being trapped in a strange world where you don't know the rules, and every little detail could be important. While Exit 8 focuses on spotting anomalies and making the right choices, Alice in Borderland takes that concept much further with deadly games, hidden clues, psychological challenges, and constant uncertainty. You’ll find yourself questioning everything, trying to solve the games before the characters do, and wondering what is actually happening. It’s basically Exit 8, but bigger, darker, and far more addictive.

Both films are horror film with Phi Ta Khon, a traditional masked festival in Thailand, as the backdrop. Both films set in Isan, the northern province of Thailand.

Rehenes, armas y un loco que los acecha. Atrapados, los personajes deben sobrevivir recurriendo a esconderse, escapar, negociar o contraatacar, manteniendo en vilo al espectador.

Same concept: a toxic marriage despite both being in love with each other, but not being able to admit it because of their greed and materialism. The difference in Climax is that she is an actress; he has political aspirations and is not above using his wife and anyone else to get what he wants.

The ML is sweet even though maybe at first you might assume he is a bad guy. The FL is a bit different as she isn't as up beat as the girl in my sweet mobster but I think it works since the guy is the up beat one in this drama.

Both are about two boys from very different worlds who fall in love while dealing with danger, family conflicts, protection, and social differences. They also share a strong “opposites attract” dynamic and a romance that develops through difficult circumstances.

She also saw ghosts; there are some scenes like that, especially the ghost child scene.
