They both have the same kind of dark moody vibe. They both are about a bromance friendship solving cases. They are different but if you like Desire Catcher, then you will definitely enjoy The Spirleam.
When watching Desire Catcher I was just really reminded of Seven Relics. They have the same kind of vibe. A bit dark and moody. They both are about building friendship with suspicious people and going through challenges and learning how to trust. They are not as similar as Under the Skin or Spirealm. But you don't always want to watch something too similar. So I suggest this drama might be one you would also like.
They are of the same genre and have the same kind of vibe. Both are detective dramas with a bromance friendship. These dramas are so similar with the dynamics between the leads. And how the leads are connected through an old case. One being a serious cop and the other being a mysterious or eccentric consultant.
One is BL and the other F/M but both are about a half vampire who is drawn to the human ML who has unique "sweet" blood.
Both are Korean BLs about the relationship between a vampire and a human with unique blood that the vampire craves.
both series with:
- 80s Hongkok mafia vibe
- BL (+ side GL in Bangkok Boy)
- about mafia clans / families fighting each other
- main theme is revenge for killed loved ones
- pretty violent and bloody sometimes
- twisted and angsty but with some fun bits between
- mains with opposite personalities
- lots of hurt / comfort
- horny
- some kids got adopted by a mafia boss
- poverty & wealth are a topic too

They are similar in terms of family dynamics.
Both dramas tell a story around female lead's chaotic family dynamics, half-siblings relationship, and the truth around her origin.
Both female leads are very smart, cunning, and calculated, they tend to let them shine their evil deeds without them lifting a finger.
Both female leads had to deal with evil half-siblings and their concubine mothers.
Both male leads are single dads.
The difference are,
The Glory's female lead was estranged and exiled by her own family, whereas Minglan was raised and loved by her grandmother.
The Glory's entire plot are more revenge heavy than Minglan.
In my personal opinion, Minglan is more beautifully written than The Glory.

Both are mini dramas in which the FL believes ML who she loved betrayed her and murdered her family. He hides the truth, keeping her prisoner to protect her as she attempts to take revenge upon him.
