Shadow beauty is really similar in the terms that the lead in shadow beauty too is living a sort of second life as a social media persona. Although this show is a much darker thriller version of true beauty. It is about a girl -who gets bullied in school due to her looks- living a second life as a social media star who is -ironically- famous for her beauty. She edits her pictures and then uploads them online to gain the feeling of acceptance, but what happens when someone finds out her secret. This is a really good show and I recommend it if you are into the darker retelling.

You might like Double Mints too, if you are into the whole Yakuza scene. But keep in mind, Double Mints is completely different in dynamics and overall vibe. It's quite a bit darker and the relationship is full on toxic.

Emperor or Boss is a super cute shorter drama with a surprisingly fun plot/ plot twist. It involves a mysterious emperor that somehow lands in modern society due to a wish in a strange journal. They embark on their journey, both female and male lead helping each other in ways that will benefit both parties. However, adapting to this new world is harder than it seems and on top of that, her boss is involved?? She tries her best to keep everything going, and to not lose her job in the process. Although, this is mostly centered around the modern era setting we get to see a fusion of ancient china/wu xia vibes. Both incorporate the use to an emperor falling into modern society, adapting and naturally falling in love. It's super cute to see their interactions and how the differences they bring to modern society. Emperors and me, gives you multiple dynasties, a longer and more intricate plot including a change in modern vs ancient times setting.

Female lead takes over a different persona to act on revenge against a family that caused tragedy in her life.

Both dramas are similar as the FL lead plunged to the fantasy world like a game. Both were modern wear to costume drama. Good for binge-watching, light story and entertaining. Acting not too bad, just enjoy without high expectations, you might find these drama cute and fluffy.

Good friends traveling a particular part of a country (Jung Hae In is in New York and the Grand Canyon). Both are really interesting and well done. Both are really nice guys as are their friends.

This show is a spin off of the korean drama "The Red Sleeve" (2021) from MBC, where you can watch the main cast having fun and making comments about stories from the behind the scenes and being playful.
