Female lead is more powerful than male lead
But this is a modern drama not historical.
Married couple love triangles. Family issues.

That same "two lonely people find comfort in each other vibe",
but in this movie the affair is brought as the main plot.
Also includes queen of cannes, Jeon Do Yeon.

Same male lead as Once We Get Married. Two years have passed since white collar worker Jiang Yi Yi and her first love Chu Tian Qi broke up. Even though Yi Yi pretends to not be affected anymore, she still can’t forget him. Then she meets the trainee guardian Fang Mu Ye from the Guardian Tribe, with whom she ends up living together. Mu Ye’s supernatural powers add a lot of fun to Yi Yi’s life, making her gradually forget Tian Qi and focus on her dream of becoming an inventor again. The two become a bickering couple, however, a crazy scientist, who’s looking for a study object, appears.

A lot of similar elements between two dramas such as revange, mafia, police, undercover etc. Both dramas are very dark.

Mafia gets involved with the law;
in Vincenzo it's not that direct, and there are some bright moments

Yeah the grandmas! Three grandmas!
No but really
There are many similarities
Feel good romance dramas, with mature characters leaning on each other and healing each other
Female lead who’s good at her job, leaves it.
Meets a guy from the county side who is skilled at many things.
At first both dramas don’t have a clear story direction.
MHOJD was better written, and had more of an existing story line than HCCC.

Both are supernatural drama. And both contain royal politics and same type of romance. The Main lead has supernatural power and wants to take revenge. Villains are also supernatural beings.

they were both filmed in the same way and have the same characteristics (probably because most jdramas are filmed this way). they both have the idea of a family/couple moving into a new a place which causes them a lot of trouble (by trouble i mean murder). even main posters are pretty much the same. they both also show many people in creepy ways. like they have characters who are different when you see them and when you walk away (if you get what i mean). plus, some characters have weird habits and objects so that leads to almost everyone becoming suspects.

the only difference is that anata no ban desu shows a whole block of flats and all the mysterious things that happen to each one and character/s living in them whilst shinhannin flag focuses on one family and the murders surrounding them.

also update : shota and nana (the main two from anata no ban desu) have a small guest appearance in episode 8 of shinhannin flag :)

Both dramas have a female lead who is focused on her career. Hae Ryung works at the palace, and so (eventually) does Cheon Gi. Both female leads fall for a man who at first glance seems more soft/gentle, while the female lead is more strong willed and ambitious. (Though, in Lovers of the Red Sky, Ha Ram isn't really as soft and gentle as he may seem.) And both dramas start out with more focus on the female lead's professional aspirations and on the blossoming romance before transitioning to a greater focus on political intrigue and more angst.

That said, the tone of Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung is more comedic and down to earth than the spooky vibe of Lovers of the Red Sky.
