Both are pretty similar. But in Psych-Hunter he is trying to find out who he is or someone is trying to help them. Also, spoiler both are trying to find out what happened that led to all these incidents. Very similar, just different time periods.

Interesting fantasy world from novel. Young actress and actor. Magic diagrams and different sects with distinct specialties. FL lead character is serious, don't really get a chance to show emotions. Whole drama is done in studio and with green screen.

Both are about guys who didn't know each other, and are very different from each other, but because of unexpected events, become friends. Also, in Pu-Pu-Pu, the three boys throw away everything and start working as part-timers while in Beach Boys the two guys leave their jobs and life behind to work in a Hostel. Therefore, I reckon the two dramas are quite similar.

They both have something to do with the protagonists future in a way. Both have a high school setting they give me a similar feel

Although revolves around the military and another around prison both dramas are very similar regarding the relationship between the male leads and their respective girlfriends. Especially the story of Seo Dae Yeong x Yoon Myung Ju (DOTS) and Kim Je Hyuk x Kim Ji Ho (Prison Playbook) is very very similar.

Both are set in Taiwan after martial law and feature stories about burgeoning youth dealing with their sexual orientation.

Both have murder mysteries, plot twists and an intelligent female lead that is involved in solving the mystery.

Even if not very similar regarding the main topic, the building friendship between two young guys turning into feelings of deepest nature...is very much the same...discovering oneself better by being together with your most cherished one...

Refreshingly humorous , just enough court intrigue to keep you engaged, topped with a dollop of envy. Even the bad guys are likeable at times!

In both series protagonists solve criminal cases - one per episode or one per couple of episodes. Both have a main, leading story from past as well. Both have a romance with characters who are supportive towards each other and heal their old wounds.

In both there no love triangle or at least a very, very minor one, which doesn't really break anything.

Both shows were produced by the same production company i.e. Daylight Entertainment, and therefore have very authentic settings and high quality production values.

Both shows take a bit of time to warm up as they introduce the main characters, the circumstance & situations surrounding them and the characters' unique personalities. But the storytelling in both is masterfully done so if one is patient, the pay-offs will be worth it.

Both shows have layered, complex and nuanced characters who have to face difficult life decisions and consequences for their actions.

Both shows explore themes of the tragic consequences of human nature i.e. corruption, injustice, loss and war. But both shows are more than just those themes, there are also heartwarming themes of friendship, familial love, loyalty and brotherhood.

Both shows are masterpieces with depth and substance.

The female lead are both strong personalities. some part of the show has similar scene. Both are romantic comedy shows but also involved twist in the stories.

Both dramas' main character are failed idols. We follow them as they adjust to "normal" life and have to deal with regrets of not succeeding. Working a "normal" job isn't easy either, and love life gets complicated too.
Will they manage to find joy again?
