Both are about eccentric teachers who help bring hope to children who have lost all hope. Akahan no Sensei is more realistic in it's approach, where though the teacher excited, he lives in a very real world. so nothing is sugar coated.

If you're curious as to why I gave the same reason for all the 4 Gokusen's it's because story wise they are the same.
