Quaranthings and Hello Stranger are both Filipino BL series. Their stories both include the Pandemic hence the use of Videocalls in most of tge scenes.

Both have a similar atmosphere, feature wlw characters and (spoiler for My Dear Friend) the girls break up in a similar manner and the endings are sad.
They are both Chinese BLs. So if you want to check out another Chinese BL, Addicted Heroin is a good choice.
The politic plots, cruel fate of love, the story similar for both of them. The main actor tried hard to protect his lover. I hope this drama will get better ending and fair for all main actor and actress.
if you liked City hunter you must like Descendants of the Sun too. Watch it you will love it for sure.
In this drama as well girl pretends to be boy to work at the cafe. later on the boy falls in love with girl not knowing she is a girl. The plot is really cliche but it's a really good drama. definitely recommend watching !!!
It's lighthearted, with a strong FL and some great sidekicks. They also both trying to solve cases and both have a happy endings.
Last in a series of which the first was " Lovers in París " ( 2004). The second part was " Lovers in Prague " ( 2005).
gripping, complex & full of dark and futuristic themes, both of these dramas are absolute must-watches, particularly if you want to watch something special & unlike many other dramas
>> the execution of the dimension-switching in train is highly convincing, plus very reminiscent of the divided timelines in circle
>> similar overall vibes (although train is more supernatural? vs circle's scifi)
>> both focus heavily on investigations
>> the male leads suffer traumatic losses, dedicate their lives to protecting their loved ones & uncover some nasty truths along the way
>> ...with a side of thought-provoking (and often mind-blowing) moral/ethical issues caused by messing with fate (train) and memories (circle), and how these can butterfly effect to drastic proportions.

They are both period dramas with lovely setting and heartbreaks that will make you cry and afterwards you will be wandering around to find a drama to replace this one!
Although both dramas could be considered vastly different and have different vibes, there are similar elements. ; Female leads who gain strength through diversities to reach their destinations.
The story is similar, as four girls live in the same apartment. They live on the same floor and they have similar interactions and they slowly get together.
