Thai Boys love show about idol life/training/behind the scenes and romance. Lost to Light is about trainees and seems more light hearted while Thamepo is about a group close to disbandment.

Both are thai boys love shows with the main characters finding themselves stuck in a time loop. Subsequently, they try to escape or break it while falling in love on the way.

GMMTV produced Boys Love shows that have some kind of time manipulation element and that star (Fluke) Gawin Caskey in on of the main roles.

Gmmtv produced BL dramas with a main character that is a boxer who becomes involved with somebody of a different (but adjacent or connected) profession (Wandee is a doctor of some sorts treating Yoryak, Nick is a journalist writing about Zack in Round One) through a fateful encounter. I dont think that aesthetically theyre too different either. Seems like round One will also include some nc scenes.

Very different settings but very few shows do the "found family, adventure, romance and a group of new-found friends on a quest concept" as well as these two shows do. Beyond the adventure, interesting plot and pacing, there's also great chemistry between the characters, and romance that takes more space in Love Game than Seven Relics, but both are well done.

Also while Love Game is about entering a fictional novel from the real world and a protagonist who initially wants out before realizing she loves it in this new strange world, Seven Relics follows a more haunting eerie realistic vibe with the main cast trying to find the truth behind the relics and its horrors. Love Game is more lighthearted and silly, while Seven Relics has a great combination of serious action, emotional moments as well as light hearted fun between the friends.

Both have that delicious revenge-drama feeling where the FL looks calm on the outside but is quietly playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. The court/family schemes, the sharp female lead, the powerful ML who becomes her partner, and the satisfaction of watching awful people get exposed all give the same vibe. Not identical, but they scratch the same dramatic itch for me.

Both are well-produced BL dramas set in high school where the university admissions/exam process plays a large role in the story and is a source of conflict that complicates the leads' relationship.

both drama have similar premises and elements such as having housewives with secret identities who juggle and try to keep the balance between the different sides of their daily lives.

Mentor & Mentee dynamic in a school setting -- Choi Min Sik plays the mentor character in both shows. One is a movie; One is a drama.

Honestly, the stories are VERY similar. The main difference is that OtWK has an underlying mafia theme that goes past the FL's lil high school gang, while HYB is an average coming of age movie.

Both shows deal with "real" work environment, in the sense that we get to see the actual work being done and the problems that appear. Both shows also have romance between boss and employee, although in TRL the roles are reversed.

Both are mellow south korean movies with lesbian main characters and a lesbian relationship at the forefront, discussing struggles lgbtq+ people face.
They were directed by the same person.
