The main difference is that The Air is a GL story, while Thara Himalai is a straight romance. it shares the same justice fantasy where an ordinary-looking authority figure secretly possesses extraordinary abilities. much like teach you a lesson, the protagonist enters school environments dominated by violence and intimidation, protecting students and taking on threats that conventional teachers couldn't handle. the tone is lighter and more comedic, but the feeling of "the bullies finally met someone stronger" remains almost exactly the same.
