Just another LGBT+ romance drama. While plots are quite different... ie. in Long Time No See their worlds are kind of connected, but in To My Star, two people from different worlds collide (not literally, but you know).

Although the plots are very different, they are very short dramas. LGBT+ romances. Quickies (can be considered movie-length). You don't need to think much. Just enjoy.

- ML is a really talented gamer
- Involves a pretty famous lead (ML in The King's Avatar and FL in Love Scenery)
- Both involve gaming

- Childhood friends that reunite in the future
- No true break up. Loyal to partners.
- FL defends ML as a child
- Meeting You is much tamer (slow) in romance and story-wise

In the end, they got the girl they loved from the beginning but they had to fight for it, they are a lot of struggles both of them had to face and they got through it also it funny how the guys get jealous and they lived happily in the end.

- Japanese family themed slice-of-life.
- Family not related by blood.
- Strong parents that are willing to sacrifice for their children.
- Slow but peaceful and heartwarming.

- Memories/Flashbacks and nostalgic moments.
- A recently passed-away parent that leaded their children back home.
- Food (though TFS featured Japanese food while WFDM featured Taiwanese food).

Friends and family are everything to the young
the dramas are similar in the comedic tone and the friendship

The story and tone are completely different, but the making of food in ancient times is the same, so it's for anyone who enjoys the food porn.

Both dramas are about people facing hardship in the fashion industry and include several possible love interests

The storylines are very different, but both are female-centered with a serious tone. Both dramas explore the lives of each woman and the conflicts they face as well as their friendship.

It has a similar vibe in that they are both dealing with a "case of the week" sort of story of people who have died. One of the leads in both dramas is also an immortal sort of character. Both fantasy dramas with interesting plots and have parts in the past and present!

the female leads both end up working with the male main lead if i remember right.
and overall they are both really good dramas so i recommend you and everyone else to watch it :) .

- Not focus on romantic things
