Both stories were written by Priest, so as you can guess the relationship between the main characters unfolds the same way. Both pair of partners have a great affection, dependance and trust on each other, but at the same time they make their relationship seem so natural and ordinary without losing their homorous characters.

Both movies span from high school to adulthood. Male lead who isn't good at his academics decides to buck up because of the female lead. Become unlikely friends and falls in love with each other. Ultimately the leads drift apart due to a quarrel and reunite bcos the female lead is getting married. Some mistakes are irreversible, some words said can never be taken back. Regret lingers heavily at the end of both movies.

Similar, in the sense that both revolve around the swimming pool. water boyy has predominantly gay characters, while Dive is more like a bromance. but both I feel have there merits. Also both are worth your time to watch.

Both stories are about high school student life.

These two shows are so similar in many ways like - crush, friendship, love, jealousy.

The Thai drama is a remake of the Korean drama. So same plot. I enjoyed the Korean version and am currently still watching the Thai one.

The rich younger brat with Daddy issues vs the older, poorer and responsible guy with the muscles! The setting is completely different but the overall theme is still going strong.

Action, Justice, Friendship. Characters you get caught up in...

And all in a show that, when it's over, you just want more.

The ML is the same. Both are melodramas and have characters who come together with emotional scars from their past.

Island life. The time spent together in the island make their love grows. In this movie the female lead is so naughty. However, they still fall in love.

Island life. Female lead is captured and fall in love with the owner of the island. Even though the nature of their love is a bit different but however the time they spent together make their love grow.

If you're watching one drama and waiting for new episodes, I hope you watch the another one too. Both are very good shows in their own genres.

BL dramas. Ghost Runner (Thailand) Mr. Heart (Korea) the plots are unrelated (Ghost runner has a horror genre and Mr. Heart is more of a fluffy romance) but both share that the lead characters are runners and LGBT.
