Tells the school life of a group of teenagers with social life problems on the web, where being popular has become the main goal of these young women who do not hesitate to do whatever it takes to become an idol on the Internet. This story is fictional but reflects the reality of today's youth.
Everything revolves around Sangdad (Jannine Weigel), a student who tries to fit into the NETIDOL environment of her school. She is in love with Bas, a cool popular student. Her best friend is called Pim who with a little luck is part of the club of the cheerleaders led by the egocentric Dream & Fay, which seems that her club is not the only thing they lead.
Sangdad to see the attitude of superiority of the girls decides to take revenge in secret by creating a Facebook page called # ???? idol where he will begin to question the attitude of young people who believe they are a star.

Kiryu Weller is an outgoing and friendly second-year student from the Faculty of Humanities. He becomes interested in Pinyin (Jannine Weigel), his junior who transferred from China. However, she has a completely opposite personality - she is introverted, anxious, without friends and shy. At first, Pinyin finds Kiryu's intrusion overwhelming but slowly they start falling for each other.
Dream Teen is a drama series starring Jannine Weigel. He plays as a student named Namwan at a vocational school.
These 2 movies explain a lot of thoughts people have. Both of these movies relate to music and their passion for it. Both main leads love music but don’t know how to let others know that they love it.
Similar relationship and feeling of drama with mystery aspect. Leads are different personality wise, girls are kinda similar. I watched LMIYD years ago and wanted something similar and this is so close in the feeling I got. Love both couples so much!!
They have the same time-traveling concept, but the plot is completely different.
Similarities:
- A group of ancient men time-travel forward to the modern-day.
- They're all servants of the Crown Prince.
- They find the Crown Princess's reincarnation and solve the mystery of her identity.
- Main character falls in love with a girl from modern-day.

I only made this connection when I wrote my review for ShuKe & TaoHua:
Both have a strong character base and very slow character development.
They also have a similar length so hang tight LOL.
I know there are many differences in the storyline, don't come at me. But if you appreciated a handful of multi-dimensional characters, then you might enjoy the recommendation (disclaimer: FL of Shuke & TaoHua is pretty 1-D at first).
Also, I really appreciate these dramas covering the typical Asian family dynamic: there may be some seemingly toxic behavior going on but ultimately, family is the strongest bond. You can disagree with that statement but that's how it really be for some people.

Both Ayanga and Zhou Shen are on "Our Song" S1 and "Super Vocal" They also have to sing a duet with someone. The style of singing is different, but both shows are singing competitions, with duets.
In both The Sword and The Brocade and General's Lady the two main leads are put into a 'forced" arrange marriage. They both give a similar story vibe.
- College campus couple
- "High energy" female lead and quieter/more serious male lead
- Quirky & independent female lead
- Emotionally repressed & reserved male lead
- Breakup due to external factors (not jealousy/personal misunderstandings/etc)
- Absurd (yet amusing) storylines with relatively lighthearted and fun characters
- Some heavier topics are explored but they are not the shows' focus
-Male lead of AHAW is the SML of Love Equations

- Leads are working professionals
- Focused on the trials and tribulations of relationships and marriage, including infidelity.

1. Both FL are born from concubines, have gone through difficulties growing up, and are street smart and independent
2. Both FL marry as first wives, courting jealousy from relatives (Ming Lan) and concubines (Sword & Brocade)
3. Both ML are protective of their wives
4. Both FL become step mothers upon their marriage

The 1st story of YitB is similar to MtSB as they both revolve around a main character that is a cat who is able to transform into a very handsome, cute human male.
In Youths in the Breeze, the cat-dude has a cute relationship with his female owner, but she never sees him in his human form, leaving their relationship at just a pet-owner level. He instead shows his human and cat form to her younger brother, with whom he develops a close friendship/bromance with.
In Meow, the Secret Boy, the cat-dude develops a romantic relationship with his owner, who doesn't know that the dude is also her cat. He also develops a friendship with the 2nd lead, who is suspicious of his identity.
