Both drama have:a chef as a main character who time travels and finds true love and gets entangled in the conspiracies and intrigues of a different era. Both drama have a lot of funny moments although Mr Queen is more bittersweet and sad at times.

In both drama one can find: Body swap, intrigues and conspiracies. Moreover in both drama the main characters after a lot of struggle end up managing to actually help the people they love and ameliorate their life despite what their own ending is. both drama have lots of comedy yet they also contain a lot of heartwrenching moments.

Both feature:
- A righteous, smart, tomb-raiding main character
- Antagonists that want to steal a precious item from the tomb

Biggest difference between the two would be that The Myth's storyline focusses on the main character's reincarnation from his past life whereas Tomb Raiders is about raiding tombs.

It also stars Seo YeJi and deals with mental health. A girl is trying to save her family from a cult. It deals with PTSD and brainwashing

They basically have the same purpose, which is to find clues and escape but in my opinion Escape Idols is slightly less interesting.

The two drama have the same female lead and are both light-hearted dramas. Both dramas also tackles the premises of dating 3Bs.

both revolve around a royal family and both main characters were raised by wolves and got power from them.

their character development is well written.

Problems regarding human relations are well addressed.

although the theming is quite different, i noticed some clear similarities between the two as i was watching.
• political corruption
• antagonists neglect the community (contaminated water in tuc, food poisoning in tfp)
which causes a child's illness
• group of skilled people work together to get justice served
• satisfying endings with the antagonists finally getting what they deserve, after constant
failure
• comedy, investigation theme

• cute romance that blossoms through school, university and eventually to adulthood
• starts with female lead's unrequited love to the male lead (male leads' feelings are quite
obvious by the halfway point in both dramas tho)
• second male lead syndrome :( however one difference in a little thing called first love, is
that he actually finds love through the second female lead towards the end
• youth, school and slice of life theme
• slow burner romance

1987 deals with similar themes of civil unrest and the important role both students and journalists played in the struggle for democratization under the authoritarian regime of the time by focusing on the historical event now known as the "June Struggle".

Both films are about South Korean Politics in the 80's during the last dictatorship and the transition to Democracy.

Both films are about massive nationwide protests lead primarily by University Students who risked their lives for a freer and fairer democracy in South Korea in the 80's.
