=> Strong female lead characters that started in very low positions (though the female lead in QSD is actually a real princess that didn't know her identity)
=> Female lead pretends to be a man at the earlier part of the series
=> Two equal love interests (Bidam vs Yushin, Tahwan vs Wang Yoo), even today, fans of both series argue which of the two love interests does the female lead love more
=> A third male character (Alcheon, Taltal) is technically not a love interests but is very supportive of the female lead
=> Actors Jung Woong In and Kim Jung Hyun (different actor from the one in Mr Queen and CLOY) are in both dramas and both their characters are on the evil side in both dramas
=> Female lead often has to fight with other women of high positions in the court before she reached the top position.

1. Lee Joon Gi is male lead in both these historical dramas. We know he did a lot of historical dramas, but we can argue that these two are most successful. Iljimae gave him Top Excellence in SBS Awards as well as nominations for Baeksang while Moon Lovers gave him international popularity.
2. Lee Joon Gi is rivals with a half brother for the love of the same woman. Except in Iljimae, he and the half brother do not know they are siblings. Also, there is less focus on romance in Iljimae.
3. Lee Joon Gi wears black mask in significant parts of both dramas (though the reasons for wearing masks in both dramas are different)
4. Actor Jo Min Gi plays Lee Joon Gi's dad in both dramas.

*Interesting trivia: Kim Yoo Jung, the female lead in Moon Lovers' rival show Love in the Moonlight/Moonlight Drawn by the Clouds, actually plays the child version of the female lead in Iljimae.

Might be because write by the same writer. The story line is almost the same, except this one about writer and chef

Both are similar in that the main character moves to a new place and meets a guy there who they end up growing closer to through spending time together, and then falling for. Also, both cover deeper topics as well along the way.

The only thing I can say is that, Goodbye my Princess basically copied Untouchable Lovers.

Untouchable Lovers: The story starts off with Liu Chuyu trying to complete a mission, she completes the mission while falling in love with Rong Zhi.

Goodbye my Princess: Li Chenyin has his own mission and completes it, but he also falls in love with Xiao Feng.

In both shows, they forget the other person. In goodbye my princess in ep 10 they forget each other whereas in untouchable lovers they forget each other in ep 17.

After the male lead forgets their lover, they continue their lives. Li Chengyin falls for Zhao Sese, and Rong Zhi falls for Ma Xueyun. eventually, both shows have a marriage alliance. As Lin Chengyin marries Xiao Feng, he also marries Zhao Sese on the same day, the same thing with untouchable lovers. After the marriage, both male leads fall for the person they had a marriage alliance with.

Another thing I find really funny is that in Goodbye my Princess, Xiao Feng's grandmother (Empress Dowager) sent one of her maid's to Xiao Feng's side, which that maid is Yong Niang. Whereas in Untouchable Lovers, Rong Zhi's sister, who is also known as empress dowager also sends one of her maids to Chuyu's side in which she is known as Lanruo.

I would say the only difference this show has, the fact in goodbye my princess they actually had a reason why they forgot each other. They both jumped down the water of oblivion, Whereas in untouchable lovers they didn't have. reason to why they forgot each other. Another difference is Lin Chengyin pretends he doesn't like Xiao Feng but he really does, and Zhao Sese isn't as cruel as Ma Xueyun. I would say goodbye my princess is more tragic than untouchable lovers.

Well, both dramas were from the same screenwriter thus you can expect similar style of wit and comedy in the plot. And both drama had a group of people acting and behaving as a part of some mafia-like cartel (with Vincenzo actually was one himself).

And while Vincenzo only just started, I can already find a lot of similarities between the Gootham gang and the Geumga Plaza people. Heck, as much as Hae-il and Vincenzo were quite different from each other, the two of them did share some similar traits in personalities. Not to mention, Gyeongseon and Cha-young were also very similar in personalities and weirdness though profession-wise they're the opposites.

both have murder, gruesome bloody death, thriller and horror. (although killer toon is more a 'supernatural' kind of horror, while watching is a slasher kind of horror. they both have good addictive plot which will keep you on the edge.

both movies delve into the dark, twisted and manipulative minds of psychopaths/killers. both are really good thriller, slasher, murder movies. both contain a good amount of blood, and death. there are some differences, like obviously the plot, but if you like this genre of movie you will most definitely like them both.
