The only difference is Waikiki retains the funniest character for Season 2, but other than that both shows always draw comparisons to the original, but treating them as their own entities, makes them a lot more enjoyable. Both shows are sitcoms where the main cast ends up in wacky situations, and we get to watch how it plays out.

Both series tries to challenge norms in PH. Both series provides equal representation in terms of lgbtq+ demographics as both series have lgtbq+ actors in real lif.

Both shows deal with Boys Love theme. Both are teenagers and both shows tackle gender relationships in a serious tone.

Disciples from different school embarked on an adventurous journey meanwhile they competed to become a taoism seeker “the only person responsible to wipe out demon clan from their world”.
I think you may like it if you're fascinated by the magic in the journey of flower.the show is based on xianxia, fantasy, mystery and love relationships.

The relationship between the leads is very similar in both dramas. There are no big misunderstandings and the ML is very sweet towards FL.

Otherwise the plot is completely different cause CLonY is romantic story about woman from SK and male soldier from NK.
Search is thriller, mystery, horror drama about virus.
But I believe that you'll love both since they're both unique dramas with interesting plot. Plus you can watch CLonY after Search if you need something similar but a little bit lighter and cutter (I guess?)

- same office situation- a really good cram school teacher vs a not too good one
- drinking solo is more about their relationship, while lions pride involves mystery and some crime solving
- male ml in lion pride is not developed well- the transition to being nicer to the FL is pretty abrupt
- second lead syndrome ... yeah its here

if you want the same overall dynamic, id say this is the way to go
