Although this is a parody, here the female lead is also a 21st century woman working behind the scene in the film industry, who transmigrate in an matriarchal universe. There she is in the body of a monarch who possess an harem of about 30 men.

Zhao Lu Si plays the main female lead in both.
In both dramas she travels through time to the past in a way. She's a little more clueless in Love better than immorality in my opinion but she still makes it work.

Both are heartwarming, funny, family dramas with a strong mother-daughter relationship. They show what it means to be a mother as well as the sacrifices that mothers make for their children.

In 'Theory of Love', there is a pile of movie references, among them, 'The Last Moment'. The name of TOL's nine episode is because of that film.

On the other hand, both productions tell a romatic story in a college ambient.

It has the same main characters and the second lead are also the same. so if you enjoy this one go check their past work together. I highly recommend.
