Both are about the growth of the characters and have a sport theme. I would say the feelings I felt watching Road to Success reminded me of when I was watching Twenty Five Twenty One—sad, happy, mad, honestly an emotional roller coaster. I lovee the character development for each of the characters especially my girl Na Heedo.

“And so we put goldfish in the pool” is an extremely artistic short film that is also about high school girls who want to leave their small home town for better lives.

Both have an overbearing rich CEO who crave the attention of their partner & would do everything for them as a hopeless romantic & showcasing lots of puppy eyes when sth doesnt go their way.

The MLs have no sense of reality at first & think everything can be bought with money but start to be humbled by the ordinary living standards of their partner.

Partners can stand up for themselves, are independent and hold ML on a tight leash.

Overall, both series are enjoyable in their own way - always in for a good laugh.

If you enjoy morally dubious love interests, unreliable narrators, Faustian deals, and romances with body counts, might I suggest that fans of one will enjoy the other? 7 Days Before Valentine is about a struggling actor while Don't Be Too Emotional is about a university student preparing to take over his family's Traditional Chinese Medicine pharmacy, but the implications of supernatural elements is played in much the same way across both series and to similar effect.

Both have lawyer character and both have to struggle with even more in some episodes the ghosts were guiding the one who sees ghosts, also both have episodes that the lawyer dies! But one of their differences is that the romance is weaker in phantom lawyer and vise versa,

Furukawa Yuki plays queer character in both of them

Okay, it is even enough to read synopsis this time. 40 year old ans mid 20s police officers' "angry" romantic relationship. Their personalities are similar also. But one show is more drama, other one is more comedy

There are SO many plot twists in these both masterpieces. Very intense, romantic, queer shows where trying to solve some problems and saving each other

As far as seeing ghosts with lingering attachments or unsolved problems, the shows are same. The light shop is more spooky though and more in the face of audiance with horror

in both the female leads are autistic and meet a ml who is caring and does not treat them like they are weird. i watched extraordinary attorney woo first (back when it came out) and today i just finished pure and it reminded me so much about it so i just had to add it on mdl as a rec. if youre planning on watching pure though, be warned that it has a sad ending as with most old jdramas lol (i also cried during a couple eps throughout). extraordinary attorney woo is much more lighthearted.

Both of these dramas are BL dramas where the main couple is a cop and a criminal. The Lie We Lived in offers a short entertaining take on it, while Spare Me Your Mercy with the advantage of longer runtime explores the topic of euthanasia in addition to the story of the main couple.

While watching The K2, I kept thinking of The Great Doctor:
-MLs were alike: had similar personalities and sad backgrounds, being haunted by dead past loves and killing, both very skilled fighters, were still kind and cared about others despite pasts, were dedicated to protecting the FLs, and found new love and healing in the FL
-Music and fight scenes had similar vibes (even though one was martial arts and one was swords)

Both dramas involve CO-HABIATIONS of MULTIPLE LEADS/FRIEND GROUP,
and Multiple couples.

Both even have the same Supporting Actress.

Both mainly focused on # FRIENDSHIPS,

with Some Romance.

- issues arise after marriage between the couple in both, and like in both its kinda like got big reason to do w the ML i think?? based off the description of Love Kills Slowly at least
- modern setting romance, maturer
