Instead of homophobic parents, it is the loss of a parent that makes the coming-out the process longer and painful for the main character. If you liked the weight given to the coming out in the presence of unconditional and loving parents, you should check out this other series.

Its optimistic realism is refreshing, where the family member(s) who initially rejected lead character, grow more understanding and accepting, and seek forgiveness for their homophobia.

If you like Multi-couple dramas, I recommend watching My Girl. It has three couples in it too, and the chemistry between them is fun to watch.

Another interesting similarity is,
-Both FL have a reason to be around the "cold-arrogant" ML, except, the reason in My Girl is something you don't usually see.

Both dramas are tear jerkers. They are quality productions with good casts, but all is not bright and cheery.

Both Dairanger and Gekiranger are heavily Chinese-inspired seasons of Super Sentai that are also martial arts heavy. Dairanger even has an ambiguously "Chinese" Pink Ranger and Gekiranger's movie is set in China.

They each also only have a single girl on the team (although Gekiranger does at least have other females in support roles) and both have an episode that make use of an actor's real life twin.

-They are hard to impress and hardly get involved in any romance.

-The episodes are 36 in love is sweet, whereas episodes are 40 in you complete me.
-The titles are named on the basis of romantic genre but the dramas are not ONLY about cliche romance.
-Workplace romance.
-Time leap/ Time jump would also be shown.

Kinda remind the vibe same as Mystic Popup Bar since it's a supernatural genre for both. Some part in the mystic popup bar does fight the evil spirit too. Futhermore, they work in a team.
