Both LGBT-themed Hong Kong movies portraying financial struggles that lead to sexual transactions and complicated relationships.

Both movies picturing sweet and also bitter side of relationships when it pass through time. Deep down they love each other but later realize that they can't be together.

though set in different times, they are similar in their themes about freedom, fighting for one's country, and unity in crisis. bridal mask has a much darker tone compared to youth of may. the romance in bridal mask is also a lot more dramatic. youth of may has a more slice of life feel. but both dramas serve a similar purpose - to remind the people of today about the tragedy that happened in the past

These two drama has this mature and super heartwarming feel to it. I like the consistency of how the characters are and how they are level headed with their emotions especially the relationships between both leads. Plus I love both male leads!

Yan Dan is the only descendant of an ancient tribe, the four-leaf scorpion. Since ancient times, her whole body has been a treasure of medicine. She fell in love with Lord Ying Yuan but had to spend the next 800 years forgetting him. However, at this time, Yu Mo suddenly entered her life, and become her great support. Every day, Yu Mo takes Yan Dan out to do good deeds. One day while they were punishing evil, they meet Lord Ying Yuan's current reincarnation, Tang Zhou, who is currently a demon hunter. They help Tang Zhou search for the four ancient artifacts, and also discover a mysterious secret.

Pretty similar concepts, apocalypse with zombie like humans but except they're not just zombies and have been consumed by revenge/anger/dark desires and gotten superhuman abilities.
One of the differences is that in Sweet Home, the characters are pretty much "stuck" inside a building but in Dark Hole it is shown more open world compared to it. However even if you do not get to see much of the outside world, there is still much suspense and action going on.
Overall I would really recommend Sweet Home if you like Dark Hole, it may not be as chaotic in terms of a zombie-like apocalytic setting, but it bears similar concepts to Dark Hole and just as much actions fighting and a feeling of danger against bigger human turned mutants.

In both of these period dramas the leads travel around their country, and as they are traveling they are taught by different martial art legends. The main difference is the main lead in The Legend of the Condor Heroes is a man, and the main lead in the Legend of Fei is a woman.

Both dramas involve the FL living another person's life (in Mask while being a doppelganger and in 49 Days by possessing a body). I feel like the melodrama aspects of them are somewhat similar as well.

THE BROMANCE!!! While Untamed is originally a BL and Devil Judge is a bromance gosh you have to watch them both!!! Th tension is so freaking thick and the chemistry is sizzling!!!

- interesting plot lines and mysteries that just makes the audience want to know more
- developed side characters (both dramas have really cool side leads that makes you fall in love with them)

DIFFERENCES:
- Miss S is female lead-based; smart & strong, no-nonsense personality but also hilarious

- Ancient Detective has a more serious atmosphere with a bit of humor in it

Totally reccomend! Miss S has a lighter atmosphere compare to Ancient Detective but both are really good in their own ways.

- FL babysits 2nd ML and his BFF.
