The movie "Only the Wind Knows" is a Chinese remake of the web TV series. Both have the same native name and both are adapted from the novel of the same name.

Although Haechi is a bit darker, both dramas involve the fight for the throne, they have strong female leads, comedy, romance, and a great story that keeps you clicking the next episode.

Both are historical dramas with strong female leads. You end up loving the main characters as well as the side characters and feel invested in their stories. The pacing in both is fast and you are hooked. Also, SO MUCH BROMANCE.

These dramas both feature a couple going back in time to the prime of their youth after a tumultuous life in their late twenties.

Both of these dramas feature unrequited love by the FL where the ML has no feelings for her. Both of these have really crazy plots (in a good way).
Both have the ML having some sort of trouble with other females, and both have SML's who are really nice.

Both of these are pretty great medical dramas. Emergency couple has a lot more of romance going on and family drama. Golden Time really focuses on just the medical genre but if you enjoy full on medical dramas, this is a good one! I found that the attending physician in Emergency Couple and the Professor in the Trauma Dpt. In Golden Time were so very alike! Both of these dramas involve the E.R, hospital politics, and interns getting into trouble and learning. I love them both and hope you will too!

There's a element of the men being generals/soldiers
There are some tragic love stories but also happy endings
There is some element of magical realism.

At first both of these I doubted to start it




But they ended to be my top dramas ever.

We follow the story of Gu Kyeong-nam (Kim Tae-woo), a director famous for his artistic films that people don’t really truly understand. He arrives at the Jaecheon International Music Film Festival, and promptly falls in love with the rather lovely programmer Gong Hyeon-hee (Eom Ji-won). She proves to be a somewhat volatile person, though, being kind one minute and then, with the slightest hint of solitude, would tear into the director with fearless abandon.

uite by accident, a film director arrives in town a day early. With time to kill before his lecture, he stops by a restored palace and meets a fledgling artist. She’s never seen any of his films, but knows he’s famous. They talk, they go to her workshop to look at her paintings, and they have sushi and soju. More conversation follows, along with more drinks, and then an awkward get-together with friends where all sorts of secrets are revealed. All the while, they may or may not be falling for each other. Then, quite unexpectedly, we begin again, but now things appear somewhat different.
