This Daei Studio Horror movie version utilises the legendary Yotsuya Kaidan storyline. This version is by director Kazuo Mori, who is best known for the episodes of "Zaitoichi". The complicated storyline takes place around 1786 and concerns the life of a masterless samurai, Lemon who is unhappy in marriage with his ill wife Oiwa and hates working for a living doing assembly piecework for umbrellas. Lemon concocts a plan for an arranged and profitable marriage to Oume, a rich young lady, so that he can live the life he desires. He hires thugs to attack the young and rich Lady and Lemon battles them off. In gratitude, Oume gives a gift of "medicine" for Lemon's sick wife. It's actually a poison. Lemon uses it to kill his wife. She dies and her ghost takes revenge.

A samurai warrior is haunted by the spirit of his first wife.
Based on a tale that had been adapted many times before it tells the story of a samurai tormented by the death of his ex-wife which he had part in. Gradually he begins to lose his mind as he is besieged by haunting visions.

A blind masseur visits a samurai to request the return of a loan. The samurai kills him in anger, then has his servant dump the body in the Kasane swamp. However, the ghost of the masseur returns to haunt the samurai, who kills his wife by mistake and then goes to the swamp and drowns himself. 20 years later, the masseur's daughter unknowingly falls in love with the samurai's son who has been brought up to be a servant.

The descendant of the servant of a cruel and vicious samurai returns to the town where she was born, only to find that a cat who is possessed by the spirits of those murdered by the samurai is trying to kill her.

Both are about brothers (My Annoying Brother is a Korean brother-brother film while Go Brother! is a Chinese brother-sister film) and they show realistic depiction of relationships of annoying siblings. Both are comedic yet at the same time both these movies wrecked me emotionally by the end.

It's also an action drama with an academy section and shows how they grow stronger in their powers through will and hard work! Sean Xiao is also in this drama.

Both TV dramas are very nice to look at visually. The stylist did a good job of matching the clothing to the character's personality.
Be Melodramatic is more friendship focused even though there is a love interest but it is not the main point of the story.
Both are comedic as well and not too emotional. I found myself laughing most of the time when watching both dramas

They don't really have the same vibe, but its like enemies to lovers. Also the fact that one is homophobic. Okay tharntype has a clearer and better storyline, but both are really good and worth watching in my opinion.

Can't say the stories are similar at all, but if you like NJH and are looking for a similar chemistry w/ a ML, I would check out Suspicious Partner

Both have a cute spunky FL in high school and a gentle eyed ML.
Both MLs learn something from the FL and in turn falls for them
Both have a sort of parallel world aspect
Both FL are funny

While the stories can't really be compared, both have a similar feeling that I think if you liked one, you'd like the other. Plus Splash Splash Love is only 2 episodes so it's an easy watch.

Both are of similar niche and theme - very indie-budget youth-themed movies that involve characters who are members of theater club.

Both written by the Hong Sisters so there's a similar mix of darkness, humor, yearning, banter, and love

Both dramas star Hyun Bin as a rich businessman who likes to banter with the female lead.

The main leads both go above and beyond to catch the criminal
