One of the main characters is a a shaman who is "forced" to go to the palace to solve what's haunting the royal family. In both series, the king also plays a prominent role. Both series are focused on a palace drama and also various ghost and other "beings" haunting the palace and its occupants.

Both are horror/thriller dramas where theres loads of action taking place. Both have elements of the supernatural. They give the same vibes in a way with ofc differences in how the story takes it and the overall settings, but the atmosphere is similar which is why i'm recommending them as similar.
Major Differences:
- One is spirits in the Gwi realm and the other is monstrous beings hunting humans in the real world.
- One is historical the other is apocalyptic.
- Palace setting and apartment complex setting.

Golden Kamuy: The Hunt of Prisoners in Hokkaido is the sequel to the first live action film of the Golden Kamuy series, and Golden Kamuy: The Abashiri Prison Raid follows this drama so it should be recommended.

Not really similar but both films are part of the same live action series so it has to be recommended.
The protagonists see dead people and help them to rest in peace. Dead people seek the help the protagonists to resolve their unsolved murders.
While obviously different eras, I thought "The Great Doctor" and "Crash Landing on You" had similar vibes.
