Both FLs are supernatural beings who repeatedly die and return alive but without memories. Both FLs have their fates entwined with the ill ML who searches for and finds them over and over.
If you enjoyed Take a Hike, I highly recommend checking out any of the 8 seasons of New Journey to the West! Both shows are produced by the same person, Na Young-seok (Na PD), so they have that same chaotic, funny, and entertaining variety-show style.
-Both are BLs
-Both have a mafia / trouble maker main lead falling in love is a studious main lead
-Similar vibes and editing

You Maniac is a BL, while Nevertheless is not.
But I noticed some similarities in the first episode.
One of the main characters is a red flag who has many relationships but never gets attached to anyone.
The other is an artist who draws butterflies. Moth, the name of the protagonist in You Maniac, refers to a “moth,” while Na-bi, the name of the female protagonist in Nevertheless, means “butterfly.”
And in both stories, they end up being attracted to the bad-boy main character.

Both series have a slow-burn romance that develops naturally through trust, care, and emotional vulnerability. The characters gradually become each other’s source of comfort while growing and learning more about themselves. They both have that soft, intimate, and sentimental feeling, even though they approach their stories in different ways.
It’s a boys’ love series starring JimmySea that explores a similar fantasy concept, but with alternate realities at the center of the story. It has a unique premise, a soft emotional tone, and a really charming chemistry between the leads that makes it worth checking out.
Both stories have a soft and dreamy romantic atmosphere, with the characters growing closer while trying to navigate an unusual situation that completely changes their lives. They both focus on emotional connection, trust, self-discovery, and the way love helps the characters understand themselves and each other better.
What makes them similar is that both shows feature Ohm, Nanon, and Jimmy. The main difference is how their roles are presented: in Bad Buddy, Ohm and Nanon are the main leads while Jimmy has a supporting role, whereas in Vice Versa, Jimmy takes the main lead and Ohm and Nanon appear in supporting roles. It’s really fun seeing the three of them in both shows!
The same screenwriters worked on both shows and it’s pretty obvious. Both shows have simple premises that are cleverly written, with a lot of emotional delicacy and love put into the way the stories and characters are handled.
Both Vice Versa and Last Twilight focus on two people who grow closer while facing a life-changing situation. Their relationship becomes an important part of their journey, helping them discover themselves, overcome their struggles, and appreciate the little moments they share. Both have a soft, emotional romance with themes of love, growth, and finding hope in difficult circumstances.
Both concepts are really fascinating, and I love how they explore different ideas of time, reality, and destiny. The chemistry between the leads already feels amazing!
