- Gender role reversal themes in both (matriarchy and mpreg in BM, mpreg in HE)
- Mpreg
- Douchebag ML that becomes a better person
- Social commentary on gender discrimination
in BM the ML travels to an alternate universe where all gender roles are reversed while in HE the ML gets unexpectedly pregnant in the real world.

A reality show with the same concept showing celebrities babysitting cute babies. Probably the First since 2013 and still airing ?
This drama doesn't directly connect to the others, but the plot structure is pretty much the same. Here's what I mean:
| It starts with the main lead getting poisoned – and on top of that, he's a skilled swordsman with a solid reputation in the Jiang Hu World.
| The story focuses on solving weird cases, like a mystery?of?the?week format, but with martial arts.
| The characters travel around the martial arts world – lots of wandering, visiting different places, and getting into trouble along the way.
| They gather a group of companions, slowly building a team of friends who fight together.
| Searching for herbal medicine to cure the main lead's poison, which keeps hanging over the whole plot.
| The romance is almost non?existent – the drama barely touches on love. It's almost entirely focused on the friendship between the three main characters.
| Honestly, the three leads in each drama have nearly identical personalities too – like, you've seen one, you've seen the others.

In both dramas one of the ML dad is very restrictive and homophobic. In both dramas the ML struggles to follow his heart because he feels obligated to do as his father wishes. This effects the relationship in both dramas and this is an essential plot point for that ML character growth.
In both dramas the other ML is looked down upon because of their work which is considered trashy. They are sweet and kind and have been taken advantage of in the past.

Human x mythical being . This is a vampire x human drama. I feel is much better than flower boy when it comes to execution. Also both leads are green flags.
This is also a human x mythical being kinda drama so i am recommending it.... has the kinda fairy tale premise where the player falls for this innocent being kinda
Same vibes...
Ancient Magic & Modern Romance... Both shows use a supernatural object or spell from the Joseon era that directly impacts the present-day romance.
Also both have Fated Lovers..., Love-hate relationship, Wealthy man/poor woman

Very similar except it is adults in an Education Organisation that go to a different school every episode to deal with different forms of bullying. It's a great combination of action, thriller, comedy and minor trope of romance!!
The FLs are very similar:
*Both are 'illegitimate daughters' who joined their families around 7-10 years & caused a lot of tension & heartache to their stepmothers
*Both FLs are sharp, successful, no-nonsense, attention-loving business women admired, feared, & respected by all
*Both FLs outshine their brothers, against all stereotypes, and are obviously better candidates to take over their families' business empires
*Both FLs put in work on their 'forbidden' relationships, & end up with tall, handsome guys who are totally crazy about them

Same themes covered, many situations in common: both protagonists play rental fathers
•Makjang (affairs(deep revenge only) , accident, fake identity, fake death)
•Fake Identity (glass mask - name and identity change , deep revenge - plastic surgery, name and identity change)
•Plot twist is predictable
•Missing sibling
•Revenge (glass mask - stronger elements of revenge ; deep revenge - normal)
•Setting (glass mask - just a regular girl, deep revenge- just a regular girl but daughter of a rich man)
•Acting skills - Glass Mask (Superb) , Deep Revenge (Needs improvement, the villain doesn’t look suitable for the role)

Love Upon A Time and To Sir, With Love both explore the societal pressure to conform to a heternormative existence and the intense agony experienced by those who must deny who they love for "duty" and "normalcy".
Similarities:
- internalized homophobia is intense in both (mainly Jom in LUAT and Tian in TSWL)
- both have main characters who (initially) sacrifice their queer love to please their families through an arranged marriage to a woman (Phop in LUAT and Tian in TSWL)
- both reveal tragic stories of queer couples (that took place prior to the story) that characters use to reinforce internal (and external) homophobia
Differences:
- LUAT involves time travel and reincarnation
- TSWL is decidedly more soap opera/lakorn-ish with exceedingly high stakes as characters try to thwart the main characters' relationship
- TSWL features a wholesome (and tearjerking (in a good way)) brotherly bond between half-brothers Tian and Yang
- set in different time periods

Love Upon a Time and Love in the Moonlight both deal with the pressures of a homophobic society and the tension between love and duty.
Similarities:
- both deal with one of the two main characters being engaged to a woman as part of their "duty" to their family (and/or country)
- intense internalized homophobia (specifically from Saenkaew in LITM and Jom in LUAT)
- both have very heartwarming friendships between the main characters
- YEARNING--THE YEARNING IS CRAZY
- both will make you BAWL be prepared to CRY
Differences:
- LUAT is set in the Ayutthaya period while LITM is set between 1964-1965
- LUAT involves time travel and reincarnation
- LITM focuses on one mlm couple whereas LUAT features two
I recommend both of them they are MASTERPIECES, just absolutely EXCELLENT BLs you will not regret watching <3

Mr Heart and the movie Feel the Wind which is adapted from the novel, anime Kazetsuyo (Run with the Wind) has same promise. Running, diffuculties which a runner has, bromance/romance through the friendship etc
Both main characters travel back in time (though to vastly different time periods) and fall in love with someone of that era.
