both River Where the Moon Rises and Mr. Sunshine are similar in their amazing strong warrior female leads that can fight on their own

Both revolve around Japanese occupation of different countries, and are based on female leads who are privileged but also want to do something to change the state of affairs in their countries.

Both dramas take place in the same era and depict the ongoing war between the Song Kingdom and Liao Kingdom.

Both the FL are strong, bold and expert in martial arts. And both the ML are clever and intelligent, but are not good at martial arts. They also find out the truth about their parents death!! but the FL in "The Moon Brightens for You cannot see the future, whereas the FL in "A Girl Like You" can see the future. Over all i highly recommend this to you.

Both are around 60 mins long and revolve around an enemy-to-friends relationship between a new transfer student and the leader of the local school gang.

Both are extremely funny and have a fair share of action and violence, as well as characters that you end up loving by the end of the film.

The bromance in both is very good as the theme of brotherhood is prominent in both.

They're both on youtube so if you're ever bored, these make for great quick watches.

Basically similar ‘time-traveling’ concept, Tunnel is traveling from the past while Life on Mars is traveling to the past with serial murder case as the main red herring between the two timeline.

LoM is darker, eerier, and more complex in terms of the character and the time-traveling itself. While Tunnel is more straightforward and lighter in tone. Both happened around the same period of time, Tunnel is based around the Hwaseong serial murder case and LoM focused on a lesser-known events that were overshadowed by the Hwaseong case.

If you like one, you will absolutely enjoy the other with no doubt. I personally enjoyed LoM slightly more because it has more uncanny aspect to it where I truly questioned everything, while as I said, Tunnel is pretty straightforward in the timeline.

Both of the female leads are righteous and fight against wrongful actions. Into the ring falls more into politics while Saito-San is more of a neighbourhood. Both have shows of the female leads getting another person to join them in their journey and a strong bond of community. You`ll end up loving the side characters in both.

Although ones from Thailand and the other is Korean they both have similar plots. Being about revenge on the people how killed/destroyed their families. Both have father type figures who are blinded by revenge and want to kill every target. Where as the male lead is like a a son to them who doesn't want to kill to get revenge. Also the son is made aware that he is being lied to and used. After he realises he starts to fight back against the father figure he treasured. The female leads makes the male leads want to be better and changes his point of veiw.both knew/knew of the female lead when they were younger. Both wear masks and are fighters to protect themselves and save and protect the female leads many times much to the father figures disappointment.

Similarities :-

~ the main lead once fall in love with each other, then they forget their lovers, and fall in love again with each other.

Both tv shows about actors being paired and screenwrite their own love story. Also both are Chinese actors. The actors show their chemistry on set.

Both have the gaming aspect of it (while one is robots and the other is online gaming). Both of the relationships develop around the gaming world. Both the male leads are "nice" and don't sway once their heart is set on the woman they love. For both the male leads this is their first experience with love.

They have a similar vibe. The same type of humour and elements of crime investigation even if the storyline is totally different.

Both dramas portray Ieyasu as the protagonist, but Aoi is only focusing on the older Ieyasu (to be exact after Hideyoshi death). Both dramas however have different interpretations on the character, where TI is more on the whitewash version, while Aoi is skewed towards the "gray-character" which in my opinion more tally with the historical records.
