Both are melodramas with slow pacing, beautiful scenery, and cinematography. They commonly have this dreamy spring-like theme that is mixed with a simple yet heart warming and healing story line. Similarly, the leads for the two dramas have perfect chemistry. The two dramas talk about an established man who lost his first love, then meets a woman whom is somehow connected to his first love, and eventually he develops romantic feelings towards her.

Heroes could easily be compared to any martial arts drama and movie (particularly those starring Jet Li and Donnie Yen, and even Shaw Brothers' production).

There is an almost old school feel about the way Heroes was produced. The archetypal upright and stoic martial arts master, the stereotypical menacing and evil villain, the almost non-stop breathless action sequences, and of course, the final showdown (in the case of the drama, there's plenty of those).

- female male lead is strong-willed and is partially independent
- family set up is almost the same for the main families, with some of the same cast
- for both the mother dislikes female lead and grandmother likes her

- Sweet Sweet Boday Gaurd gives more time to their friendship while Inborn pair just jumps into the relationship. They do both spend quite a bit of time on family matters, but it makes sense due to the length

Same two A list Korean actors act together when they were young. Two really really good actors. Natural, always some humor, action, tragedy,. The acting make you speechless. Even forgot that they were acting.

It has very similar feeling to it. Especially the relationship of the leads and how they trust each other.

Both are sci-fi and originate from novels by the same award winning author, Liu Ci Xin. Wandering Earth is derived from the first short story in the book of short stories with the same title. The Three Body Problem is the first novel in a book trilogy.
