thriller/dark/plot twist.

The background story between them are same. The both of them were about two childhood old highschool friends, meet again in the future, in the mature age.

Also the ML is same. Smart and cool guy, a game players, dream to be a satellite researcher, and handsome of course ?? AND THE MORE IMPORTANT, both of the ML is so so sooo in love with their FL.
The chemistry is no doubt. very recommended!

both flesh forwards from present to past and you don't know who which guy is the one from future.
both about friendship and love triangle, but more friendship (in both),
in both drama one of ML is introvert, kind of awkward but nice guy.
in both drama family, friendship relationships are shown very beautifully (of course one is long and other short drama but both do great job in the time they have).
in both there are smiles and tiers too.
even some scenes reminded me Reply 88

P.S. it's hard to say about any drama that it is similar and equally good as Reply 1988 but this short drama was really very close

It is a romance drama and one of the main themes is a social responsibility of journalists. FL is also a jurnalist.

The male lead is a sexy and cool fire fighter who at the begining does not understand FL intentions.

The ML is Police officer and FL is a fire crew in TFR but in A date with you the ML is a firefighter and FL is a reporter .. A liitle spark of Romace in both the dramas.Both focus on the searching and rescuing part..Both the ML havekinda difficult past.
