They are both historical Thai BL dramas about fated lovers set around the same time period (1910s~1920s). Both have an upper class character together with a lower class character and struggle with societal acceptance of a male-male relationship during that time.

My Stand-In is UpPoom's first project as a BL ship together and Love of Silom is the second project. Both Thai BL dramas are expected to feature topics such as class differences, equality and the societal and family pressure on a male-male relationship. The cinematography of both dramas will be great as well as it shares the same director Pepzi, who is also a co-director of KinnPorsche.

Both series also explore complex, suspenseful storylines with mysterious characters. In Light Shop, a group of strangers are drawn to a light shop, while The Witch revolves around a woman with a unique, mystical aura.

It's also about first love. In this drama Female lead fall in love with Male lead in high school like The First Frost Male lead fall in love with the female lead in high school.

Campus love story, also involves a story with heart transplant (although much more meaningful even though it is not the main storyline)

Both are ghost stories with thriller, horror, and mystery elements set in the Republic of China period.
