Pretty much the same story. I watched My Love first, around the time it aired, i really loved it and felt more emotional. this was my first time watching Greg Hsu and if you haven't already, you really need to try his works. i personally loved his acting and think he portrayed the role of the missing the chance with a loved one and wishing her well.
But not to say, i enjoyed the this movie too (you are the apple of my eye). while the story was very predictable (and very similar to My love) i did not find it that boring. it was a good time pass watch. (watched while having a meal alone)
oh! and the ending scene to both were the same! chinese did it better (in my opinion)
so if you liked one and want to see similar (and don't want to have a meal alone) try either/other.
