both are sooooo real and healing, and the acting is great, if you see 30+ eps you will probably think wtf would they tell in 40 eps but the moment you start it you will need more 40 eps

fl with mental health issues, but in will love in spring the fl also has physial issues, the chemistry is great but this actually has a happy ending

Fake dating and falling in love. Cuteness overload. All with an handful of friends and other pairings to fall in love with.

Cuteness levels are similar, age ranges are also similar. New / first love with a substantial helping of friendships and other pairings.

Dramatically different plots but similar kind of vibe.

Both dramas have:
Respected and high ranking male lead
Smart female lead
Forbidden kind of love that is not accepted
Corrupt leaders
Forced separation and misunderstandings
Both have constant threat of death arcs

Unchained Love is about a eunich falling for one of the King's consorts. He is the head of the palace's soldiers that is very talented and determined. She is a consort for the previous king that was sent into the palace and meant to die when the King did but was saved because the King has an obsession with her that she does not return.

Everlasting Longing is a push and pull romance between two smart and strong individuals on opposite political lines. He is the expected next ruler for one side while she is the heir of one of the most influential families on the other.

Both dramas will leave you frustrated pretty frequently and neither female will top your list of favorite characters. But the kisses and romances are done fairly well.

While both of these productions aren't alike in terms of plot, both were directed by the same person (Wen Shi Pei) and both have the same surreal and trippy vibe to them

Both are Japanese productions that focus on shogi and the MLs who were tutored by older, troubled men

Both feature a female chief who solve cases in their own ways along with their teams. Reiko and Hiiragi both have unorthodox methods of solving the cases. They also have rival units (?) Who don't miss the chance to belittle our main leads.
Both series have interesting cases.

From the Same director so it has some similarities.
Both are Xianxia’s
Both FL’s are human but want to become immortal and work hard for it. They also have a powerful, tragic past/identity that they discover towards the end of the story.
The FL is seen as an outsider/bullied by others.
Tragic sister relationship
The ML protects the woman he loves above everything and would sacrifice anything for her.
Both dramas feature a strong, healthy, loving, honest, supportive relationship between the FL and ML.
Both FL’s have a turbulent relationship with their father at first. Which turns out to be a ruse by the dad in order to protect them and his image. Curiously played by the same actor.
The ML and 2ML start out as enemies but become friendly allies. Ps. One is an Immortal the other is a Demon.

-Both dramas feature male leads that work in a special force of some sort
-Both male leads are gentlemen
-Both have career driven female leads
-Both female leads are pretty, cute, and passionate
-They are both slower burns but the chemistry and feelings are obvious from the beginning
-The vibes are overall similar

- completely different stories BUT, if you love the "team-based" dramas, designated survivor is like that too. emphasis on team, because these dramas have two of some of my favorite teams assembled out of everything i've watched

Not very alike by story.
But vibe swiftness of action scenes and dynamic of actors feels alike.
Both got less then ten episodes and most of time its all about gun fight few against horde.
