The stories are vastly different in tone and setting. RSL is a light romcom while Ooku is much darker and melancholic historical palace intruige.

crime investigation, full of angst and plot twists, very intense, friendship and emotional at times. you'll most likely enjoy this too if you've enjoyed MIU 404
Both main characters of these dramas have similar abilities, especially the FL of Family Matters and the ML of Awaken. Those two characters can manipulate someone's mind yet they also have a difference. Anyhow, both dramas interestingly awaken your curiosity about their family matters.
1. Both stories have characters with special abilities who need to hide them from the layman to protect themselves.
Both leads were childhood friends, where both of their families were tangled in the past. At first, ML hated FL and gradually fell for FL. As they grew up, they were estranged and reconnected years later.
Both Dramas tell the high school drama at a prestigious school and how the main leads fall in love with each other. The supporting leads also contribute to the story line. The acting and appearance are similar as they deal with family struggles. My favorite drama for the last 2 years Meteor Garden 10+.
-Both dramas started with 3 years of unhappy marriage & a catalyst revolving the FL's life has started to shift the couple's relationship dynamics.
-Both ML's and FL's surnames are the same:
Baek Sa Eon - Baek Hyeon woo
Hong Hui ju - Hong Hae in

both the dramas give similar vibes and the leads entangle with friendship and later they turn into lovers.
Both have female leads who are wanting and hoping for recognition and love from their own families and are mistreated badly. Both have a influential/rich male lead that will do anything to protect and help the female lead. Both have a revenge/thriller aspect, but not in a similar sense. Chemistry between leads is great in both!
Both "Connection" and "The Trunk" are dramas centered around a mystery. While "Connection" does not include any romantic elements in its plot, the character dynamics are quite similar to those in "The Trunk." Suspense builds progressively from episode to episode in both dramas. All the actors in both series are highly acclaimed ones who can actually ACT. However, "The Trunk" features more angst in its characters compared to "Connection". But the plot of both dramas revolves around a mystery in that sense these dramas are very much similar.

Both MLs have face blindness and the other lead is the only person whose face they can recognize.

Both FLs disguise themselves as boys to enter an all male activity to fulfill a dream relating to a loved one. They end up sharing a dorm with the ML with whom they fall in love.
