Both stories focus on a man determined to eliminate corrupt leaders. Both are MLS reborn. I'm looking forward to seeing this new drama

It's a strange choice you may think putting down a modern drama as a recommendation - but hear me out.

It's the Personality of the OTP and dynamics of their relationship.
It's the "hazing" the FL goes through before she can set up on her own terms.
It's the ML who (loves making profit) does not interfere in her pursuits but admires her gumption and perseverance.

Its the way FL works her way around people and gets them on board.

It's as engaging a watch for the journey of a woman who lost everything and had to build up from scratch

Mudan and her maternal side legacy of peonies

Jiang Hu and her paternal sides shoe making legacy.

Same vibes ,same trope, same type of plot. everything's very similar.
Mysterious 'dangerous' male lead meets/saves pretty & feisty female lead in a made-up dangerous country.
They always have to pretend to fall in love, get married, or are forced to cohabit to stay safe... and they end up falling in love for real.
Also in both dramas, ML seems to be allergic to wearing clothes (not that it's a complaint).

The melodramatic first loves who have come back together in a dramatic and almost sad fashion.

From the OSTs to the cinematography it just seems familiar to me

Both MLs are extremely powerful , holding a high-ranked position in court as a cover for their important plans (seeking revenge). FLs are carefree and prioritise their freedom and independence above all else, but inevitably get caught up in power struggles of ML and SML - also getting embroiled in court politics. There is more romance in Unchained Love, and it's not really an enemies-to-lovers arc like Love of Nirvana - at most, they start off distrustful of each other.

both stories start out the same, the male lead is walking from somewhere and stumbles upon a stray cat somewhere.

they both have similar plots but I feel as if meow, ears up! is more for a younger audience and this summer is for an older audience.

it's really just the maturity levels on how both series are played out and how they're told.

both have a bodyguard-owner relationship trope and both main leads have strict parent guardians who care much about their safety and health. in golden blood the main leads father gets him a body guard because he's scared about his enemies (whom he won't let sell drugs in his territory) men getting his son and killing him because of his father's work, and in eternal butler the main leads gets his body guard because his parent-guardian sees him as immature and gets himself in trouble.

The two chinese dramas have the very same story of a cook and a prince. In both dramas the prince is picky at the beginning and in both she struggles with the kitchen staff and eventually earns their respect.
