Both are historical stories about two friends with different statuses who end up enemies due to choosing the opposite side of some conflict.

Both feature Yum Jung Ah with 2 female actress friends working in the countryside to gain cash and local ingredients to cook outdoors during their stay. Similar format with guests that help out. Fresh Off the Sea though also has Dex as part of the cast.

I am just shocked at how smart both male and female leads are. The double the FL uses her cunning and wits to survive, similar to the FL for love in nirvana. Both ML are just as smart as well and they seem to have this mutual understanding of one another although they seem to hate each other from the beginning. It was like enemies to lovers for me. Both move in such a fast pace you can't help but keep watching.

“Love Next Door” and “Run On” share several similarities, particularly in how they both explore relationships that develop gradually and focus on personal growth alongside romance. Both dramas feature characters who initially seem mismatched but slowly find common ground through meaningful conversations and shared experiences.

What makes them particularly similar is their cosy, feel-good atmosphere, portraying modern love in a realistic and heartwarming way, while avoiding overly dramatic tropes.
