Both of the male characters are trying to regain something they have lost which is connected to the female lead. At first for both male leads their intention wasn't to care for the female lead.

Both are historical mini dramas that are about a strong FL ending up in a marriage with a sick, delicate ML who has a hidden identity and agenda.

Both are Republican Era dramas (Couple of Mirrors' is set in the 1930s and 'The Message' is set in 1941) that feature two female leads with excellent chemistry.

These are my two favorite adaptations of the novel! 'The Message' is a thriller full of unreliable narrators while 'Phantom' is much more of an action movie, but both have excellent chemistry between their female leads and a satisfying story.

The structure of the show is similar to the EXchange model with anonymous texts to each other, not sharing ages & jobs right away etc... but this one is sets of siblings in the house together acting as strangers, but helping each other find prospective partners.

both FML travel back in time to prevent the death of one of their classmates (ML) who is then shown to have had a crush on the FML the entire time.

Both FLs time travel into the past to save the ML who has died in the present. It's then revealed that the ML was secretly in love with her a long time before she believes they first met.

Both dramas are about one of the leads suddenly dying and the other attempting through time travel to save their life.

Both FLs time travel to their school days in an effort to save someone.
