While the historical events in both dramas are not super accurate, you can watch both to see a glimpse of Korea's history from the time of the last Joseon king to the time of the Japanese colonial period. It is best to watch Mr. Sunshine (covering last Joseon king's time period) before Song of the Bandits (covering Japanese colonial period).
=> Both are historical dramas set in the Japanese colonial period of Korean history. The two main male leads are former friends and they love the same woman. However they became estranged as one became dedicated to the cause of Korea's freedom while the other became loyal to Japan.
Both are korean dramas, of the historical romantic comedy genre, about matchmaking taking place in the Joseon era.
- Supernatural main lead
-Both couples argue a lot
Both couples are connected in the past with evil destiny.
If you love fantasy romantic comedies, you should watch it!

The male lead in the drama silent becomes deaf as he ages and connot speak so the female lead learns sign language to understand him. In twinkling watermelon the kain lead handles his family who is deaf but suddenly travels back in time and teaches female lead to speak in sign language.
In destined with you the female lead performs spells but in enigma the male lead performs spells. This makes the both dramas related.
Both are college-based dramas where the couples interact both in and outside college. While Love Class Season 2 has three couples, Why R U? has two couples. Screentime is divided pretty neatly between the couples in both dramas. Some aspects of both dramas reminded me of each other.
Acting to be shamans and solve the mystery. In MLL, the female lead helped male lead solve his ex gf's murder mystery. While in Café Minamdag, the male lead teamed up with female lead to solve the murder mystery of FL's brother and other serial murders.
The doramas are very similar in the age category of the main characters. also in both series women are trying to find love without losing their careers.

Both are really gripping Chinese language crime thrillers.
Both are wuxia dramas with investigation/small case solving which will eventually lead to a bigger case/main plot of the drama.
UTP has slow burn romance with amazing chemistry between the leads (both ML and FL are strong and independent) while MLC has a slow burn bromance/friendships (lol) and ofcourse chemistry between three leads of MLC is fantastic (bickering trio)
Both drama has similar vibe, humor, action, detective skills and wonderful chemistry between leads.
