One is BL and the other M/F but both are have the themes of the ML waiting for the reincarnation of his love from ancient times, and the possibility of them coming back looking different while there's another person with the original face in modern day. Both have a cat shapeshifter who helps the ML.
Both are short historical GL films with the same actress in which one of the leads is an entertainer of some sort.
Both dramas highlight a toxic relationship between two students. In these toxic relationships, both series show the ex of the main character is not wanting to move on and harassing them. Both series show how the actions of the toxic ex is negatively affecting the life of the main character and how the main character deals with the situation they are in. They both also incorporate mature topics such as harassment, SA, etc.
I do think 'The Effect' is a little bit more intense than 'Dinosaur Love'.

Both series are Thai and have professional, semi-cold women and the men who love them. Voice in the Rain has a bit of magical realism thrown in so that's fun.
Though twist & turns are different but plot is kinda same with the ML being a special force officer & FL is a doctor. Both are of their first & last loves.
The main and secondary characters are very much intertwined in both shows. The dialogues from both shows are so meaningful and wholesome, that you'll miss the appeal of the story if you're not paying attention to their conversations.
Unlike in Run On where there's a main romance plot, there's no romance between the leads in My Mister (I mean IU's and Lee Sung Kyung's characters). More external conflicts are going on in My Mister, but there is a deep emotional connection among the characters from both shows. If you like shows which are character-driven, I think you will like both of these shows.

Both of these shows have a subdued vibe and the relationships of the main and secondary characters are very much intertwined. Because this is my first life has more external conflicts going on, but both dramas portray deep emotional connections among the characters very well.
The male lead's personality in both shows is similar, he speaks less but meaningfully, speaking up his thought directly and logically. The comedic moments in both shows are shown through less dialogue and more from the characters' behavior during certain situations and I really really enjoyed this type of humor.
Both shows feature a noona romance in the secondary couple's plot. The romance in Because this is my first life is more diverse as we have three couples, and they're all showing different vibes. The romance in Run On is gentle, wholesome, and realistic.

if you want to enjoy stories about dementia/alzheimer, you should watch this film. both tell of someone who has to take care of one of their family because he can't remember. of course, our emotions are stirred by watching this film. both move slowly, but it's because of the slow flow that we can feel their warmth.
One female lead's best friend in Because This is My First Life is also a career-driven woman who is single by choice. If you enjoyed the authoritative powerful women in Search WWW, you will like this character as well. Her story delves into a lot of the ingrained patriarchal views that Korea has and some other issues kind of like sexism and what it really means to be like a primary breadwinner especially if you're a woman. Also, her romance subplot is just like super cute.
The story is about two guys meeting and falling in love while living in different timelines. They meet a couple of times at midnight in room 609. There is a lot more to this story than that. But that is what links it to this story.
Both are Japanese dramas with a ML who is emotionally withdrawn, somewhat reclusive, draws manga for a living, and wears a black hoodie. The other lead (ML vs. FL) is upbeat but has personal problems. Both have a colorful and loveable group of supporting characters.
The formation of the love between the main couple is a slow burn but once it happens they're a true power couple. In both dramas, the male lead likes the female lead first too.
- Strong & Smart ML+FL who support each other
- Engaging story with satisfying ending and good chemistry btw the leads
- Involve some politics and have good battle/war scene
- Have a character seeking revenge (FL is TLB vs Villain in Destined)
The main difference is the FL in TLB has good fighting skills, but the FL in Destined is more business savvy.

even so the stories are so different but both have the same male leads , and they are both cinematically beautiful .
even so the atmosphere in josee is sadder but the story of both of them are sad , there are beautiful nature scenes in both , the cinematography of both of them is so beautiful .
