Both MLs are involved in stopping some crime and vanish for years, returning with a new identity and pretending not to know the FL despite becoming close to her again. Both MLs have an identifiable scar on their sides.

I found myself comparing these 2 dramas as I was watching Extracurricular. They both have a serious, dark, downward spiral vibe. They both also have a high quality of production, great music, and both are shorter dramas instead of the typical 16 hour length. I highly prefer Strangers from Hell to Extracurricular though. The story feels more complete, I prefer the OST more, and the main characters are 2 of my favorite actors.

En esta historia nuestro protagonista anda buscando algo en lo que ser bueno, es el dolor de cabeza de sus padres, pero una vez que conoce la cocina no la dejará hasta que se vuelva el mejor chef.

Hayakawa Yui is a 16-year-old girl whose only strong point is her ability to run fast. Desperate to save this young lord, she finds her way back to the Warring States era, and so her adventure there begins.

Written/Directed by the same team. Similar aesthetic and vibe. Same intriguing and mysterious style of storytelling. Unusual plot, not the same o’, same o’. Great story development despite the short episodes. Romantic, heart-fluttering, with some giggles and humor too. Sexy, but still very sweet.

In both of these miniature GL productions, one female lead is completely dedicated to the other, willing to do whatever is asked for her. Likewise, both productions feature one female lead marrying a man for the purposes of later killing him.

Demon lord, hellfire (blue), philosophical questions of what is good or what is bad. And who decided either way.
