- both have great fight scenes and action scenes
- some cast members are the same
- quite a lot of similar scenes; if you’ve seen weak hero then you’ll 100% get deja vu while watching duty after school

They both take place in a school with students and have violence. Also both are heavy stories with hardships that will make you cry.

Songkran is a real estate mogul a total womanizer with a son named Pe. But he didn’t start out like this, though. Pe’s mother left him when he was young to be with another man. Kran was heartbroken and began treating women like toys and gained the nickname ‘Invincible Casanova’ along with his best friend Sia Ou who runs a modelling agency. Ingdao and her family own a large orange farm. She’s the type that takes no crap from anyone. Thanks to her huge mole and unkempt appearance she is often viewed as ugly. Nevertheless, she has a boyfriend named Nu, a dashing and mild-mannered teacher from the same town.

Both take place inside an airplane.
Quirky passengers with lots of comedy!
FYS is more mature while OKM is more of a family drama.

But Proposal Daisakusen is a romantic comedy, so the story is more entertaining. However both drama bring a meaningful message about love and how important to appreciate and protect the person that you love.

Forensics is a shared focus in both dramas. While "Trace" solely focuses on crime solving episode - to - episode, "I Know Your Secret" has a little bit of drama and added intrigue.
The male leads in both are quite similar, except for their jobs. Both have experienced a trauma in their pasts which have brought them to where they are now.
Both have the possibility of romance which isn't explored but hinted at.

Somebody is a psychological thriller and therefore not everyone's cup of tea, just like Squid Game. It's heavy - one might feel extremely unwell and disturbed by it. There's no romance in neither, that's not the primary focus at all. There are, however, many explicit scenes of physical violence, murder, nudity and sex. It reminds me of Squid Game, which is known for its gore and murder scenes, but also its psychological concept which fits the subgenre of both.
