in both dramas, the ML and FL share their power with each other to help the illnesses they are suffering from.
So here are a few similarities:
- the ML /FL underwent a gender changing surgery (in DSILY female to male and in TFL male to female)
- the couple knew each other since childhood (in TFL the ML is the not-blood.related uncle of the FL)
- both main leads return (among other things) because of their love
Actually over all the gender change is the only similar trope, as you might have notice TFL is not a BL. But TFL is so good as well. It definitely does not have the same vibes as DSILY, it‘s a bit darker and (of course) dramatic and emotional (not in a feel-good way). But anyways you should check it out!

Also a Thai GL Drama Series. Based on the trailer even the ship dynamic is a bit similar - ex. one more known and rich character in the ship with not so good social skills.
Hello there is set in an earlier time period but there is spiritual powers in both. at first, the male lead in both dramas is cold and distant but as he gets to know the female leads he warms up. some of their conversations are really funny. both dramas start at one small sect then move to others sect for information and or medicine needed
the main lead acts stupid but is actually quite smart. the male leads in both shows have 2 different sides to them. He falls in love with someone he didn`t expect to and doesn`t want to admit it until she is put in danger.
Both are warm and cozy romantic melodramas. Both have seasons in the title and they actually occur during those seasons. I also suggest watching them in the season they are set in. The female lead in OSN and male lead in SS are librarians. Both male leads are low key and total green flags.
In both drama one partner is an alien and another one is a normal human being. In my girlfriend is an alien it's the girl who is an alien and in starcrossed lovers it's the boy.

Love to Hate you where Enemies to lovers. The skate into love is chinese drama the ML and FL are childhood friends and coincidently they meet in the same university under sports majors. ML hate FL because he used to bully ML when they are younger. this time ML make things harder to Fl where they become Enemie, but slowly they fall in love. This is Chinese rom-com drama.
The FL crushes over the ML (same as Lost Romance)
ML is a CEO of a flower arranging company
They meet in their dreams due to an error in a bracelet for sleep. FL tries to make him fall in love with her in their dreams.

The story about a woman who was left alone with a lots of complaints after her husband died. Both story focus on finding the answers, adjusting with time n growing up .
Both male leads are neurosurgeons. Both couples have reunion after years . There is same theme for first love and slow burn romance.
Older handsome teacher male lead falls in love with female student who also had terminal illness but here ml has terminal illness here also he never told he had illness but insted here he lied fl that she has illness
Although "Doctors" is a older korean drama, it has similarities:
- both leads are neurosurgeons who meet again as fellow & department head after many years
- before they used to be student & lecturer
- age gap + height difference
- leads are adults (30+)
Doctors has more medical focus and shows surgery. It also has a kickass FL and a ML who is flirty and persues the FL right away after their reunion.

Both:
- Male lead likes the Female Lead first. So it gave a similar atmosphere between the leads.
- harmless misunderstandings
- steamy scenes (although Chijo probably has more just because I finished it already, but I just can't be sure yet with Zenryoku since I just watched 2 episodes)
Differences:
- Chijo couple are same age and were classmates before; Zenryoku have age gap and knew each other as lunchmates.

Both:
- sweet romantic jdramas (both characters are the hopeless romantic kind)
- respectful and nontoxic lead characters
- steamy but steamy smut scenes
- cohabitation
Difference:
- In CNK, the characters know each other from high school and then they meet up in the present time.
- In SMH, they do not know each other that well.
