Tragedy oh tragedy, this is the drama to watch. You will need a bucket for your tears and i am not responsible for it.

Maybe not that similiar, but if you're looking for tragedy genre, then it is similiar. Want to cry? Need a reason to cry? It's the place.

I would say this reminds me of Mr. Bad for the novel plot stuff… I wouldn’t say it’s exactly the same but at least both should be during their youth… as for the storyline I wouldn’t say too much just that they made it quite familiar yet not… still interesting to me

Thriller/Mystery /Brutal/Violence

Im Ji Yeon is also a main character in this series.

overall i just think that our main characters in both these shows are very similar. they are both ISTP also. Both are really good revenge dramas.

While completely different in tone (MUD is light and funny, TKA is much darker and heavier) both begin with the king killing the midwives to hide a birth secret and the FL being raised as a male crown prince.

- Both are heart-warming slice of life dramas.
- Both were produced in the late 1990's to early 2000's
- Both star Nogiwa Yoko in a pivotal role.

Both feel so real. And the focus on scenery and subtle details are very much the same feel! Super calming and relaxing to just hear the natural sound take its spot as the background music in both dramas.

- both somehow educates about sex, health and relationships

- Both dramas explore first love and dreams from youth through nonlinear storytelling
- Flashbacks from the 90s with a present day plot
- Notable real world events weaved into the story

Both have kind-hearted Yankee MLs, a cute child, and a restaurant where the characters hang out. Both are light and heart-warming dramas.

Both dramas are pure arthouse/film noir genre and thus revolve around topics that will make you uncomfortable and are at times disturbing. both dramas deal around a girl that has special needs and meets/gets reunited with a male lead that is a criminal. Both male leads and also both female leads are very similar in terms of behavior.

A highschool student is severely bullied by their peers. They grow up and later exact revenge.

Both are melodramas and deal first-hand with the topic of illness, and both dramas use it as a mechanism to cause conflict but also cause the leads to become closer. If you enjoyed the exploration of illness in either drama, you will enjoy the other one too.

Both have are an office romance where the ceo and employer are fake dating in the beginning, but end up falling in love. Crazy love plot is pretty interesting it has a bit of everything you could say.
