How is this and why is this not compared to "Goblin"?
This drama is basically the Goblin of 2022. Now, this isn't about popularity but because of the setting, it is given.
Even though both dramas have huge gaps in the plot, the essence is the same. A rom-com, fantasy thriller with heart-wrenching scenes to cry.
We got killer leads (literally), magic that fulfills, romance to die for, MLs who are imperfectly perfect, awesome FLs with brains, and endings with pain.
Just how did we forget?

Similarities:
- Both are set in historical time but completely fictional (modern day behaviour)
- Have strong comedy borderline parody
- Somehow heavy on political conspiracy
- FL is kind of reckless sometimes rude in both dramas
- ML is nice and understanding
- Love triangle doesn’t work in both

Differences:
- Revers character hierarchy
- TFM is giving strong SML syndrome
- TFM have better romantic chemistry and swoon moments.

Both are essentially about court ladies who try their hardest to protect the king and support his reign.

Both are movies by the same director. Theyre primarily comedies. In both the fourth wall is broken sometimes and theres a Wong Kar-Wai refrence in both, although you have to be familiar with his style to catch it in Fast and Feel Love.
