Both short period dramas have the FL spy on ML and later do not wish to continue. Follow my dear general is more fluff and light whereas a familiar Stanger is a more polished production.

Both historical rom-com dramas have a plot involving a capable general's love story. In general's lady they are married at the very start and in follow my general, the FL enters as a male-dressed spy but her identity is found by ML at the very beginning.

Personality of the main characters aren't that similar. Yeoreum in Summer Strike finds it hard to express her thoughts/feelings and always accompanied by books. Houdoung in Meet Yourself is outspoken and easygoing due to the nature of her job as a manager in a hotel.

BUT the two series are pretty similar in the sense that the sudden shift in their normal, usual life has made them want to brave a new environment for a change. I have just started MY but it's probably gonna be another slice of life series that would make one appreciate life as it is and people as they are.

- ML falls in love with FL who is a ghost
- At one point ML and FL must come to terms with the fact that their worlds are different (an inter species relationship isn’t meant to last or normal).

Both of these stories present a premise in a similar vein of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith": That of a married couple who are unwittingly from rival factions of killers/assassins/etc. Both are full of comedy, hijinks, action, and a healthy dose of rediscovered romance.

Both are mini dramas with a similar tone and feel. Both leads seem to have a past connection, and the FLs have a false identity or motivations as well as a distinctive scar.

Both dramas feature academically gifted female and male leads and showcase the leads' relationship development from enemies, to friends, to lovers over the course of high school, university, and post-university life.

They both involve time travel. They both have a mystery to solve. They both have a romance to the story.

They both involve time travel and both leads live in the same apartment just at different points in time and they meet in the apartment once a day for a specified amount of time. I thought "Love in time " was good. "609 bedtime story" i haven't finished and I just hope for a happy ending.

Both are based during Japan's colonization of Korea and in the future. Both have jumpcuts between main character when they were a kid during Japan's colonization and main character right now, when they're old and wrinkly.
