=> Both are historical dramas where a mother is the main character
=> They may not have many similarities but both shows have a similar theme: to what extent parents can do for their children. Both dramas depict the good and evil in parents.

Both are demi-humans and have inhuman abilities and strength, both are also great to watch. I recommend part 2 of the witch too.
Both stories about guys with powers. Both guys get the powers through experiments by big organizations. Both of them are short dramas the will likely have a part 2 that will dive more into how the protagonists deal with a larger scale of things, such as protecting their own kind. LUCA is easier on the eyes and there is not much body horror or anything, unlike in connect. Don't watch connect if you are of faint heart, but LUCA is fine, it barely has any horrifying scenes.
Similarities:
- Miniseries
- Korean BL
- One ML is an author (Yeon Seok in FLA, Cha Jung Woo in HER)
Differences:
- FLA has the reincarnation and first love trope
- HER has a love triangle

Both have the concept of a shadow or piece of a person who becomes their own unique person. Both have misunderstandings between the leads, with the FL having a wrong impression of the ML's feelings/actions for a large portion of the drama.
Similarities:
-Both have XYL playing the 3rd wheel with unrequited love for the FL. But in both he'd rather protect her and still be her friend than losing that too.

Both are mini dramas centered around a revenge plot by the FL(s). Both FLs have knowledge of what will happen (through premonitions vs. time travel) and use it to their advantage. The MLs start out as sidekicks/assistants to the FL's revenge plot but have secrets of their own, and over time the two fall in love. Both dramas have a very similar feel and pacing.
