There is a spunky heroine. The male lead is a cold ice prince who warms up to her though. It's a very lighthearted drama and doesn't deal much with politics for the most part. Rom com at its finest!

If you enjoyed the relationship between the FL and the second ML in Cheese in the Trap, then you will love the main leads in Just Between Lovers.

Baek (2ML in CITT) and Lee Kang (ML in JBL) are very similar characters:

1) They bough have a rough exteriors but are really teddy bears inside.
2) They are involved in shady businesses (a bit of a thug with a heart of gold).
3) They are protective of the FL.
4) They care about their sisters, to the point that they are almost sacrificial towards them (trying to provide their sibling with money even at the risk of their health).
5) They also both lost their parents at an early age.
6) They can be prone to violence when they feel someone they care about is at risk.
7) they are very easy going.
8) Both ML suffer from an injury that defines their characters.

1. They both take place for the most part in the kitchen.
2. The ML are both skillful Chefs that can be both arrogant and adorable.
3. FL end up working for the ML in their restaurant (and learning from him).
4. In both, the relationship between the lead starts off as a bit of love and hate; with the ML being very demanding in the kitchen and have little patience. As the show progresses and the ML becomes aware of his feeling, he becomes more patient and gentle with the FL.
5. They both have comedy, though Oh My Ghostess has a lot more.
6. There's a love triangle in both shows.

Big differences:
1. Oh My Ghostess has a supernatural element to it (having two main female leads pursuing the male lead, though one is a ghost). The show also has a crime element to it that gains strenght during the second half.

ALSB is a sweet and wonderful "variation" of Itazura Na Kiss and its many adaptations. This Chinese variation dedicates about 60% of the show to life in high school and 40% to life as college students and as young professionals, up until they decide to marry. What's special about this C-version is that the male lead shows interest in and cares about the main girl from the onset. At the beginning, he cares in his own quiet ways; then he slowly comes to terms with his feelings and to expressing them. The Thai adaptation "Kiss Me" was excellent. Both variations, the Taiwanese "Attention Love!" and the Japanese seasons 1 and 2 of "Good Morning Call" were great too, but ALSB does a better job in explaining the male lead's personality and decisions. Seriously, ALSB is a sweet show...

The both dramas deal with the realities of life such as death and trauma after an fatal accident. The main characters try to overcome the pains and family problems coming from their past. Throughout these two dramas flashbacks are shown about the past experiences of the main characters. The are both great in that they show that life goes on even after an traumatic or painful event and shows how people try to be happy after such events.
