Both are supernatural/fantasy dramas of short(er) length in which a main character must perform a specific number of tasks in order to achieve something they desire.

Both are heavy in tone dramas dealing with life and death with the message of cherishing the time you have. There are many side stories as well as the main characters' story. Also at least one of the MLs in both dramas is immortal and has a past connection in someway to the FL.

FL likes to do detective work as a hobby, and finds work with the magistrate ML, solving criminal cases. Both are also fluffy dramas.

Gong Sun Li, is the grand-daughter and disciple of military commander Gong Sun Yu. Jing Ke (first disciple) and Sun Li are childhood lovers and were forced to escape when Qin troops attacked. However, Sun Li’s wall-shattering beauty seizes the interest of the Qin Emperor, Ying Zheng, and she’s captured and sent to his palace. It’s then that she discovers she’s pregnant with Jing Ke’s child. Ying Zheng treats him as if he’s his own child. The tragic day arrives when Jing Ke tries to assassinate Ying Zheng.

The dramas don't have many identical plot points, but both are :

BL romance dramas that involve a pair of identical twins in which one of them is straight and the other one is either gay or bi-sexial.
They involve their love wife.. the problems they have in their school and work-enviroment (as it involve students of high-school and colleague students.. and their close by age just started working adults)...
In both the twins have a family that doesn't support their love or life decisions.

Very similar fluffy romance dramas with a FL sleuth that helps to solve crimes. Very similar tropes and storylines.

A story about the king who is actually a woman in disguise. It's one of the most well-played gender-bender I've ever seen. Despite her obvious feminine features, she plays the role so well that I forget that she's female. And their love story is immaculate, and he also falls for her while still thinking she is a guy and fully prepares to risk it all for his love for "him".

Similar to the police atmosphere and training four new recruits. Mor e of a slice of life but has an interesting take on things.

Love and hate, revenge and misunderstanding lead to tragedy
Death in most cases is only the beggining or restart of a new story
It seems that after thousands of years, same mistakes are done , with the same tragic result

both rom-coms are funny & romatic.
ML & FL in both dramas tackle their everyday life situations together.
FL's previous partner thinks his inlove with her.

Humorous rpmantic comedy
Slow burn remoance but worth the watch.
ML & FL start to have feelinds for one another.
2nd ML thinks his in love with FL...

If you liked the dynamic between the second couple (ep 3-5), the main couple of sh**ting stars have a similar relationship ~ where the FL is always yelling at the ML. Although the premises are different, they share similar comedic relationships
