FL is a shapeshifting cat/human who meets and ends up living with the human ML. Both dramas have a mostly fluffy feel.

Besides the fact that both films have the same male lead, their stories and cinematography are also remarkably similar. They are both experimental, ironic, and punk-ish takes on violence and crime.
Both these dramas are fresh and give-you-hope kind drama. Both drama's female leads are very strong and determined, they both have issues with their mother(popped out of nowhere) both drama has NJH as their male lead
They both has the same mission to protect the young innocent girl that was being tortured and abused. The motherly nature, love… to protect and seek justice for this young life.
Both are very intense historical dramas that will keep you hooked.
Also, Jang Hyuk plays a main role in both

Even though FNOS has a supernatural element and TKSL doesn't, they both:
- have a hilarious mash of genres
- are full of cheesy giggles
- have a mystery aspect involving the police and trying to find something out
- have a very eager FL cop who will stop at nothing to find out the truth!

Both are MBS TV series and as manga reader I find Kaneda and Hira being similar in a way lol but the vibe is very different with Sepakoi being pure romcom while utsukare is more of bittersweet coming of age.
Eve is a revenge makjang while lust, caution is more of an espionage thriller, both involve a femme fatale seducing powerful and rich married men with ulterior motives. Nonetheless, lemme tell you that Lust,Caution is way superior!
This show somehow reminded me of "Only Just Married" the plot isn't the same, but it had the same feeling. It also has that: "Oh no! the FL doesn't have anywhere to stay! Oh no! Maybe they can just live together??" kinda vibe.
In "Renai Mangaka" it's a labour contract that brought them together (I know, I can't believe I'm saying that either) as for "Only Just Married" it's a married contract.
All of the characters are also likeable despite some of them in real life would've been decribed as a demon (e.x Hayase-san) it's still plausaple and all of them are only meant for comical purposes. Definitely worth a watch if you're into romcoms with this kind of vibe..

I feel lots of Kota/Naoya vibes in here :) Yanase has the same cute smile as Naoya while I feel Kota's kinda double personality and his facial expressions when I look at Kaneda.
There is a heavy focus in terms of siblings love/relationship and a complicated Chinese family.
Also highlights and depicts how marriage is extremely important to women as it changes the course of a woman’s life especially back in the day…

Very different in tone and setting, but both feature delicious looking food/cooking and an enjoyable though seemingly mismatched romance between the leads.
Both feature mainly gorgeous shots of cooking/food (the food is basically a character) and seemingly mismatched but very compatible couple.
Crossover Kamen Rider films between the current season at the time this movie was released and the previous one. Both deals with time travel and feature an exclusive Rider that's an homage to Showa Riders.
