Both are cozy short Korean dramas, set in school at the beginning, and focusing on soulmates (DMN takes this in a fantasy way). ML initially seems distant to the other ML or the FL.
Very different in tone, but both are historical Korean dramas with MLs whose job involves marriage and who have left or been forced to leave their noble class background.
Master/student relationship. Similar bittersweet, melancholy feel and tone.

Both dramas deal with the same time period,."Yae no Sakura" is somewhat a precursor to "Tsuda Umeko...", the drama's plot starts earlier in history and catches up to the period in the movie and goes beyond. Both female leads are working for the cause of women's education and are influenced by western culture. One of the companions that studied abroad with Tsuda Umeko is a side character in the drama: Yamakawa Sakiko / Oyama Sutematsu has a pretty interesting story arc, the viewer feels compassionate with her alienation towards her homeland and the reaction of her Japanese countrymen, her engagement/the relationship with Oyama Iwao gets shown in more detail and thus seems reasonable and pleasing.
Nods to the fairytale, poor FL ends up living with rich guy(s) and falls in love with him/one of them. Similar tone and feel.
ML is a bully who undergoes character growth and change after meeting FL who he initially plays games with and bullies, but then slowly falls in love with her. ML is a student in both, but the FL is older in Promise Cinderella. Similar style of humor in the lighter scenes.

Different in tone but similar in characters and aesthetics. ML is a god like being, FL a human, and their relationship grows slowly. Also in the end, ML disappears, then returns as a human.
While very different in tone, there are similarities in characters. The SML is a gentle scholar and the ML initially appears as a villain, distrusted by the FL. Events occur that the FL is not expecting which cause her to fall for the ML and experience hardship.
Similar plot ML is grown up with FL by freeloading at her house and later grown up with feelings toward her.
Haven't watched Sweet Prison but the stories are pretty similar the ML knew FL from past..
ML searches for the person who killed his family member.

Both are bubbly, fast paced, and fun Japanese BLs with endearing characters and upbeat, often hilarious moments. Both have a very similar tone an school setting.
Same actor as the ML. In both he is extremely devoted to the FL and will do anything for her. Similar tone and setting. Both are very interesting dramas that don't lose their pacing in the second half.
Can't save the patient's life" is not a strange sentence for Tin, an emergency medicine home doctor who has had to get used to this kind of situation and outcome. But what will happen when he is given a second, third and countless more chances to help a young student to survive? Is saving this young patient's life the only way to end the Triage time loop?
